The U14 Boys State Championships are around the corner! We are excited to be hosting this tournament and need YOUR help to ensure it is a success!

Volunteers required for:
✅Saturday 4 July - Pre Championship Working Bee
✅Sunday 5th July - BBQ, Canteen, Downstairs Canteen, Bar
✅Monday 6th July - BBQ, Canteen, Downstairs Canteen, Bar
✅Tuesday 7th July - BBQ, Canteen, Downstairs Canteen, Bar
✅Wednesday 8th July - BBQ, Canteen, Downstairs Canteen, Bar, Pack Down

Ipswich Hockey has adopted the recent changes from FIH regarding jewellery and watches.

This policy has been adopted by Hockey Australia and Hockey Queensland for all tournaments and was recommended that all member associations also adopt.

🚫Players must not wear jewellery or watches during matches
⛔️Any jewellery that CANNOT be removed should be appropriately covered.

Ipswich Hockey By-Laws have now been updated to reflect this.

This weekend, we come together as an association to celebrate inclusion, on and off the field.

Pride round is an opportunity to come together as an association and showcase our inclusion. At IHA, we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of sexuality, gender, pronouns, identity and culture. Sport is for everyone, and this weekend is an opportunity to showcase that.

Pride Round is now celebrated across major sports leagues in Australia, including through Hockey Queensland and Hockey Australia, reflecting a nationwide commitment to inclusivity in sport. We are proud to be part of that movement here in Ipswich.

Hockey Queensland has announced the 2026 Masters teams and we are well represented with players and coaches! Congratulations ladies on an outstanding tournament last weekend and good luck as you prepare for Nationals!

Huge weekend at the Women's Masters Tournament in Brisbane!

Shout out to all our players, coaches and managers on a successful tournament.
🌟Team 1 finished 6th in Division 1
🌟Team 2 finished 5th in Division 4
🌟Team 3 finished 4th in Division 5
🌟Team 4 finished Runners Up (2nd) in Division 7.

Thank you to our Techs (Heather and Mark) and Umpires (Zoe, Tahni, Craig and Shane) who all did us proud. Special shout out to Tahni who was appointed to the Division 5 Final and Shane who was appointed to the Division 6 Final.
