Quorn (the capital of the Flinders Rangers) is Approximately 3 1/2 hours from Adelaide and 40 kilometres's north east from Port Augusta. You can travel to Quorn from Adelaide via Port Wakefield- Port Pire. Or take the more scenic route via Clare-Melrose. The Friday night before the races, the annual Calcutta and raffle night is held at the racecourse which is always a great night with a country co

mmunity atmosphere. Gates open on the Saturday at 11am for a great day of country racing with family day atmosphere full of horse racing, excellent food, refreshments, fashion of the fields and children's entertainment including bouncing castles and side shows. Help set the racing atmostphere by dressing up and competing in the Fashions Of The Fields best dress male and female with great prizes
