What a fantastic day we had at our Blanch Trophy Day! 🏆🐴
A huge thank you to the 56 riders who travelled to Quirindi to compete and make the day such a wonderful success. We were thrilled to welcome riders from Boggabri, Denman, Gunnedah, Guyra, Kootingal & District, Macleay District, Manilla, Narrabri, Tamworth and Upper Horton Pony Clubs.
It was fantastic to see so many riders, families and supporters come together for a great day of Pony Club competition, friendship and sportsmanship.
Throughout the day, riders competed across the events included in our program, with a wonderful mix of Hack Classes, Riding Classes, Ba****ck, Pony Club Mount & Handler, Flag Race, Bending Race, Barrel Race, Bonfield Bounce and Keyhole. There was plenty of friendly competition, determination and, most importantly, plenty of smiles!
Remembering Matey O'Donnell 🕊️
A very special thank you to Amanda, Sally and their family for joining us on the day to present the Matey O'Donnell Memorial Trophy. It is always a special part of our Blanch Trophy Day to remember Matey and Robin, and to continue their memory through this beautiful memorial trophy each year. We are incredibly grateful to Amanda, Sally and their family for being part of this tradition and helping us honour their memory.

A huge thank you must also go to the Red Cross ladies, who came along to lend a hand in the canteen, alongside our own dedicated QDI club members.
The incredible work that goes on behind the scenes to keep everyone fed throughout a busy competition day can never be underestimated! From early starts to keeping the food and drinks flowing, your hard work makes such a difference.
We are incredibly grateful for every person who gave their time in the canteen and behind the scenes — you kept our riders, families, judges and volunteers fuelled for the day! ❤️
