On the weekend our annual March Open Golf Tournament was held, with numbers looking good heading into the weekend. Saturday the rain decided it would come out and play but that didn't worry our golfers who battled the conditions and enjoyed a great day. Sunday was the pick of the weather with a sunny day and no wind making it great conditions for golfing, a big thanks to all those players that travelled from around the West Coast also from the North Coast. But also the king Island players that made the trip a big thanks and hope we see you back next year with some more mates.

Also a big thank you to our committee members who spent hours down on the course maintaining it, and a big shout out to Ray Brodie for all the work he is doing around our course.

Lastly we thank our sponsors who make these tournaments possible who help out with all our prizes during the weekend, a big thank you Henty Gold Mine for being our major sponsor for the tournament 👍🏻 thanks for the support and hope to have you guys back on board next year. Birdies Pro shop for the golf equipment, Queenstown market place, Evans IGA and Greens General store for making up the food.

Once again a huge thanks to everyone involved and we hope to grow bigger as a club and more people come along over the coming years 👍🏻🍺@⛳️
