Hi everyone, hope everyone has enjoyed the auskick season. Firstly big thanks to the age group coordinator's for all their help throughout the years. Also a big thanks to all the parents and most importantly the kids for making the couta program so good. Our final session kicks off with our famous kids vs parents game for each age group. This will be followed by a BBQ (gold coin donation) and some awards. Thanks and look forward to seeing everyone there. Go coutas

Hi everyone,

hope you are all well and keeping warm. Only a week to School holidays start, was just trying to get an idea on how many people will be attending next Friday night so we can decide if we to run a session. There will be no Auskick over the holiday period, so please enjoy the break.

I have just been advised that the Pie night planned for tomorrow night has now been postponed to after the school holidays break. So as soon as I have more information I will let you know.

Finally this week the Queenscliff Football Club has offered the Grade 2,3 and four kids the opportunity to play in a game during the half time break of the senior game. There will be free entry into the ground for the parents, pie and drink for the kids after the game and the opportunity to play in front of the Couta crowd. If you would like your child to play please send me an email or text to confirm. Also if some grade 1 kids would like to join in as well please let me know. Just need to confirm catering for the kids.

Thanks again to all the coordinators and parent helpers over the last couple of weeks. The numbers have been great and the kids seem to be enjoying them selves

Hi all. Due to the current rain and expected forecast for the next few hours we will need to cancel tonight’s session. Mat will be at the ground though for anyone who does want to come down for a kick if it’s not too wet.
Apologies but we will add another session at the end of the season.

Dear Parent/Guardian,

As we draw closer to the commencement of NAB AFL Auskick for another season, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Mathew and I am your Auskick Coordinator for 2022, thank you for choosing Queenscliff Point Lonsdale Auskick

Please find below some updated information regarding the upcoming Auskick season

Location: Queenscliff Football Ground

When: Friday night’s starting at 4pm

Season Dates: A typical Auskick season kicks off from Tuesday 26 April and concludes the week of Sunday 24 July, our first session will be 29th of April. Please note that Auskick will run for 10 weeks over a 13-week period, above the 8 you pay for Auskick under the terms of participation. Over the duration of the season, we may have planned bye weeks on long weekends and school holidays as we understand that many families go away during these periods, please note these bye weeks will be communicated at season commencement.

As you may have noted during the registration process of your child, NAB AFL Auskick relies on volunteer parent helpers during each session to ensure we can run allocated activities and provide critical support to ensuring the best experience possible for Auskickers. Thank you in advance to those who have listed their level of engagement preference, I’m very appreciative of the assistance you will provide throughout the season.

Next steps: As we are 6-7 weeks away from our season launch date, you can expect to receive a further email from me with additional information you will need to be across for the first session, I will also reach out to registered parent helpers to provide a summary of what activities you will assist with on the night. Please note that Footy boots are not a requirement to play Auskick, if your child has boots, they are welcome to wear them of course.
