The spring weather continued with this weekend’s shoot. The nice weather brought about 30 members down to the range, with I2A also running.

The 13th of September is the annual general meeting at the Roos Club after the shoot on Sunday. If you are interested in running for any position or to have a vote in projects to happen in the coming year, please come along. Please feel free to reach out by message or email if you want to know what the roles are or want to know more information.

Memberships will be past due and will need to be renewed before shooting. Memberships can be renewed now on the website. Members will also be required to show an active ABA card before shooting.

It is starting to feel more like spring during the weekend shoots with the sun out and no chill winds. It was a regular shoot this weekend with around 30 members coming out to shoot, with I2A running as well. Thanks to everyone that came out this weekend, it is great to see how much the club has grown.

The morning Sunday shoots are starting to fell more like spring, with no fires going and no freezing wind. On Saturday several of our members went out to Capital field archers in Tharwa to participate and to win some awards at the F branch shoot. Thank you to Capital field Archers for hosting. After the busy weekend we had around 10 members with I2A continuing next weekend.

The trend of cold morning shoots is continuing with this week having a foggy start as well, luckily both fires were going and the sun made appearance towards the end of the shoot. Thanks to the around 30 members and I2A visitors that come out this week and braved the conditions, hopefully it starts to warm up.

Memberships will past be past due by the next Sunday shoot, and will need to renewed before shooting on Sunday the 2nd. Memberships can renewed now on the website. Members will as be required to show an active ABA card next week as well.

Last weekend’s shoot was the coldest shoot of the year so far. Thanks to the around 20 members and people that attended I2A. Luckily it was not all cold and miserable as we had some fires going and the sun even came out toward the end of the shoot, providing some warmth and a rainbow.

Yet another cold winter morning yesterday with two fires going to keep us warm. Despite the cold around 20 members still braved the conditions, with I2A also running. Thanks to everyone last week that came out to help the impromptu working bee to remove a large amount of waste from the club grounds.

The cold winter mornings continued at this week’s shoot. We still had around 30 members show up to the shoot plus I2A and RA was also running this week as well. Thank you again to the people that came out on Saturday to help out on the working bee. During the working bee the club has updated the boundary pole for the two ranges, we have added new colours on the poles - red and yellow. The red poles indicate the no man’s land and the yellow poles indicate the boundaries to the two ranges.

Thanks to everyone that came out to the help with working bee today. We managed to get the jobs done, we painted the stakes two different colours, replaced the signs on the boundary’s of range and set up some new club equipment. The regular shoot is on tomorrow at 9:00.

This Saturday the 20th of June, we will be having a working bee at the range to help set up some of the new equipment for hire and to do some chores around the range. Members are encouraged to participate and we will be meeting at the Roos club after for lunch.

The last shoot as a cold foggy morning with the fire going. Despite the cold morning there was still a good turn out of around 20 members and I2A running as well. For up coming events next week we have the monthly committee meeting, and there will be an up coming event working bee in the near future.
