The urgent maintenance work at Queanbeyan Pool looks to has been successfully completed, and we’re excited to announce that the pool is re-open (Friday 15 May 2026)! 🏊‍♂️

Important Update: Queanbeyan Pool Closure

The Queanbeyan Pool will be closed for a week from 3pm today, Friday 8 May 2026. This is due to urgent maintenance works.

The closure is required to facilitate urgent filter repairs. Initially, we aimed to keep the pool operational by using one filter while repairing the other. Unfortunately, the remaining filter has been unable to manage the current bather loads, and as a result, we must temporarily close the pool to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. For updates on reopening, please keep an eye on this page or visit our website: qprcaquatics.com.au

📢 Important Notice: Pool Closure

We regret to inform you that due to urgent maintenance, the pool will close at its regular time of 8:00pm on Tuesday, 5 May, and remain closed until at least 9:30am on Wednesday, 6 May 2026.

❌ Please note that the 6:30am and 8:30am Aqua classes scheduled for Wednesday will be cancelled.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. 🌊 Updates will be provided here if the closure extends beyond 9:30am.

🌺 ANZAC Day 2026 Update – Queanbeyan Pool 🌺

Important Information:

The Queanbeyan Pool will be closed on Saturday, 25 April 2026, in observance of ANZAC Day.

For those attending local commemorative services, please allow extra time for your journey as the Queanbeyan Pool car park will be closed from 8 pm Friday, 24 April 2026. Parking is available at Morisset Carpark, Crawford Carpark, and Erin Carpark, with walking access required.

Road Closures:

The following roads will be closed during key ANZAC Day event times:

🕔 Saturday 25 April: 5 am – 6:15 am & 9 am – 11:30 am

Lowe Street – between Campbell Street and Morisset Street
Antill Street – between Campbell Street and Crawford Street
Campbell Street – between Albert Street and Crawford Street (note: no access to Campbell Street from Morton, Bruce, and Albert Streets)
Intersection of Lowe and Campbell Streets
Existing Monaro Street closures and detours remain in place
