Round 9 - Player of the Match - Men’s Reserve Grade

Kieran Allan read the game like it was an open book. Kieran controlled play expertly, using his strength and dominance on and off the ball to force the game into his pace.

Kieran’s abilities, both physical and mental, were instrumental to our game this round and are why he’s netted himself this week’s Player of the Match.

Keep it up Kieran!

Round 9 - Player of the Match - Men’s First Grade

Dylan Deep-Jones is my MOM for the round 9 match vs ANU.

His leadership on the court was unmeasurable, an asset to his teammates.

He played entire 1st half and only 4 min on the bench in 2nd half, a true work horse, and he didn’t stop fighting all game.

Dylan netted himself a well deserved goal, but also showed off his versatility with strong defensive power.

You ripper!

Round 8 - Player of the Match - Women’s Reserve Grade

Casey Smith is new to the club this season, but she quickly proved herself to be an undeniable asset. Casey’s solid defensive work and quick thinking have made her a formidable anchor, but her work as captain has earned her Player of the Match this week.

Casey leads the team with pride, sets a fantastic example, and is always ready to jump in and do whatever needs doing. Casey has been instrumental to the women’s side at QPP this season, especially in mentoring the younger players.

Thank you Casey! You’re an absolute legend!

Round 10 - Player of the Match - Women’s First Grade

Ella Smith was a non-stop powerhouse in our round 10 match vs West Lightning. Ella shone in anchor, providing impressive defence and allowing the team to play out from the back, but what really stood out was her versatility, playing every position on the pitch at some point during the match.

Ella’s long balls and strong kicks were an asset not to be underestimated, setting the team up for counterattacks and opportunities. Her attitude is phenomenal, she never gives up and encourages her teammates to keep pushing.

Well done Ella! Well deserved 💪🙌

Round 7 - Player of the Match - Women’s Reserve Grade

Emmalea (Mills) Kalenjuk has had an impressive season so far. Fresh to the CFL she’s been hiding her inexperience, only showcasing her talent and flair, with fancy footwork and keen eye for passing lanes.

What made Mills player of the match this game was her attitude. After the team’s last few tough matches Mills was determined and ferocious, giving the game her all, but keeping her patience and team spirit.

Her renewed focus and positivity made her a force to be reckoned with. Well done Mills!

Round 7 - Player of the Match - Women’s First Grade

If Zoe Williams had a dog, it would be a dalmatian, because in our round 7 match she was an absolute Fire Fighter!

Zoe gave us stability in defence and creativity in attack. She made North Fire work around the clock as she played in every position on the pitch with finesse and expertise.

Zoe never lost her determination or desire to compete and was an uplifting voice and presence to her teammates.

Keep it up Zoe!

Round 7 - Player of the Match - Men’s First Grade

Eze Inochea was a secret weapon in the first grade match against Fire, he played off the bench but transformed into the PotM.

Eze was provided a strong impact in attack, netting himself what was easily the goal of the match with a chip over the keeper.

EZE made it look easy, with exceptional ball control at both ends of the court.

Round 6 - Player of the Match - Women’s Reserve Grade

Zara Pirotta had the game of a lifetime in the round 6 reserve match against South Swift. Zara held strong in goals, making saves so impressive she had even the opposition’s admiration.

Zara is one of QPP’s youngest players this season, but she’s showing her skill in every match.

You get ‘em Zara!

Round 6 - Player of the Match - Men’s Reserve Grade

Joshua Hedditch showed great heart and grit against a well drilled swift outfit.

Josh never down and always presented himself in all moments of play he could, scoring a double and creating multiple chances for his team whilst also breaking down transitions with pure effort.

Josh’s determination truely set him apart this game.
