Alhamdulillah with great pride and honour we would like to let you know that CMSC is champion once again in Sunday social B grade!!

It wasn’t easy this season. Everybody chipped in. Credit goes to Adnan Anwar the skipper who played brilliantly and lead the the throughout. Super proud of everyone.

A brilliant journey came to an end with such pride. Thank you everyone. Without everyone’s relentless efforts and endeavour this wouldn’t have been possible.

Special thanks to all the organisers and management staff.

Started the new year with a match winning fifer. It wasn’t our best day with the bat. We were all out for 158. But our bowlers didn’t let us down. Each one of the played their part and it end another convincing victory of 46 runs against team Dhaka Cafe.

CMSC breavhearts won again!

It was the second game for the bravehearts. We won the toss and our captain decided to bat first. Despite loose of couple of early wickets our team managed to score a total of 186/10.
It wasn’t easy in the beginning as the opponent started with a flying start of a 56 run partnership. Then it was the skipper who got us the breakthrough. After that our bowlers went all out attack and the opponent couldn’t really put up any real partnership. Soon they ended up with a total of 135. And CMSC won by 65 runs.

📌 CMSC vs Tigers

In game 2, CMSC faced Tigers Sporting Club. It was a day with high-speed ice-cold winds ideal for sleeping.

CMSC started off well with the ball by chipping away with crucial wickets at regular intervals. By the end of the powerplay Tigers were 43/4. Thanks to Ahnaf for taking some blinders, as the ball was swerving a lot. Tigers did a great rebuilding job and they posted a very fighting total of 152 with the loss of 8 wickets.

CMSC had a flying start. Rafi was on fire, he hit a few massive sixes to set the tone for us. By the end of the powerplay, we were 43/0, sitting in a very strong position. But cricket is a funny game. In space of 3 balls, we lost 2 crucial wickets of Rafi and Joseph. And things didn't go according to the plan from their onward. We lost wickets regularly. Nuiaman H and Abid H took the fight to the Tigers but ended up being short by 8 runs, 144/9.

Another tough day in the field, but we are well and truly alive in the tournament. Let's get the first win under our belt. Bdstars awaits this Sunday. This should be a cracker!

📌 Canberra Conquerors Arrow VS CMSC🔰

The defending champion Canberra Muslim Sports Club (CMSC) kicked off the 2nd Edition of BD Cup this Sunday as they took on the Canberra Conquerors Arrow.

Canberra Conquerors Arrow posted a competitive total of 142 with the loss of 5 wickets. With wet outfield this total ended up being a winning one, as CMSC fell short by 12 runs. CMSC ended up with 124/9.

Our stars for the day with the ball were Ahnaf (2/18) and Nuaiman H with the bat (33/34).

A disappointing start to the tournament, but the good thing is we can only improve from here onwards.

A crunch game coming up next week against Tigers Sporting Club. Let's get back to winning!

And here we are back with another trophy.
The first ever BD cup champion. It is none other then CMSC. Thanks everyone for the team effort. Everyone stood shoulder to shoulder and played as a team. It was a close match in a very difficult condition. At the end we had the last laugh. Thanks everyone and special thanks to Association of BD Stars Canberra.
