Teacher appreciation post - at our last end of block dinner and staff awards we were very pleased to give CJ and Ilaria their award for reaching the 1000 lesson milestone! They will now be sporting a star above their name on their shirt representing this milestone. Also a big congratulations to CJ for being named employee of the block due to her extremely reliable and high quality work and appreciation of her by parents through our feedback system. We also want to thank the Queanbeyan council via QPRC Mayor Kenrick Wi******er for the generous prize attached to the Business of the Year award which allowed us to invite family to attend our staff function for the first time.

Looking for smart, talkative, big voiced, 15-16 year olds with a solid level of swimming skills. We will train them up to deliver high quality lessons as a junior swim teacher. Last night, we were honoured to be awarded the 2026 Queanbeyan Business of the Year.

This recognition means so much to us because it reflects the hard work, care, professionalism, and passion that our entire team brings to the swim school every single day.

From the teachers building children’s confidence in the water, to the juniors welcoming families and helping keep our facility running smoothly, this award belongs to all of you.

We sincerely thank our staff, our swim families, and the Queanbeyan community for supporting us throughout this journey. To go from a small home swim school to receiving this award in the town we love is something truly special.

10 years today! This week we are celebrating 10 years since I quit my job in the public service and started as a full-time swim teacher. And I didnt go broke!
