The Belles worked hard all game today, in some suddenly pretty hot and sunny conditions, but unfortunately just couldn’t get on top of a slick and accurate Joeys team. But fear not, we didn’t want another week off anyway so we’ll be regrouping, rehydrating and hitting next week’s prelim hard and fresh with heads held high.

Huge thanks to our big turnout of vocal supporters today, the positive noise on the sideline truly fuels the team - bring it all to Northam next weekend!

Old Timers! This Sunday we gather in Beverley in support of the jewel in our Club’s crown: our blazing, boundless, and brilliant Belles!

The girls are the undeniable sun in our Footy and Netball Club universe, and this weekend they need every single one of us orbiting around them! Make sure you, your mates, your neighbours and anyone else you can physically squeeze into the car are courtside making some serious noise.

York won’t be an easy fight, despite the fantastic result we achieved against them just two weekends ago. There will be no room for complacency, so let’s keep playing like we’ve got nothing to lose, back each other in, and push that Ferrari harder than ever.

Let’s get around our Belles and send that Ferrari straight into the Grand Final!

And that’s all she wrote! Our League season has come to an early end with the KATS Football & Netball Club just getting better results than the bulls yesterday. Hard fought to the end with full game efforts from the likes of Rushy and a solid injection from the Ressies boys in Dorse & Tucky.

🔥 TIME TO FIRE UP, IT’S SEMI FINALS DAY!! Our League boys take on Keller/Tammin in Northam today in a sudden-death semi-final, with everything on the line. No tomorrow, no second chances, no “we’ll get them next week”. Just four quarters of footy, a whole lot of grit, and hopefully another chapter added to the 2026 story.

However the next four weekends of finals go, we’re set for a huge night on Friday 18th September for our Wind Up Dinner! Expect all the heart, humour and good food of last year (thanks Flavour Town Catering) - with a couple of extra surprises ✨

The Bulls & Belles rounded out the home and away season with 2/4 wins - if you count Maddy Lee’s win of the meat raffle! Thank you York Roos Football Club for your fab ladies day hospitality 👏

Huge kudos to Tom Karrlson and his ressies warriors for finishing the season with their heads held high. They gave every week a red hot crack and we can’t wait to see the team, full of young timers and old timers alike, develop over the coming years.

Our league team couldn’t quite secure a final win for the fixtured season, succumbing to a few injuries. Big reset this week though as they still have an opportunity to progress, playing the first semi final this Sunday in Northam vs Keller/Tammin.

And of course, the jewel in our crown, the Belles pulled out a trademark show stopping performance to take a comfortable win over last year’s premierships - to secure a minor premiership of their own! Top of the table baby! They now get a week off before facing the Joeys once again in the second semi in Beverley.
