ACCA Dragon Boat Racing Team ❤️🖤 Competitive Dragon Boat Racing Team based in Sydney. Faster Stronger Together 💪🏽 The ACCA Dragon Boat Racing Team is based in Sydney, Australia.

The team has been racing competitively since the 1984 is one of the founding members of the Sydney Dragon Boat Community. We are a multi-cultural, multi-age high achieving club, with paddlers and coaches who have been involved in State, National and International representative levels. We competed in the 2016 National and World Championships that was hosted in Adelaide. We also competed in our fir

st international regatta in Hong Kong, June 2016. The club's objectives are:
1. To engender an inclusive culture that provides people of all ages and fitness levels to participate in a great team sport competitively and socially
2. Compete at State, National and International levels of dragon boat racing


ACCA trains on the water 3 times a week – Tuesdays and Thursday at 6:30PM and Saturdays at 8:30AM, each session running for 1.5 to 2 hours. A coach will lead each session, which focuses on building strength, technique and water feel. Each session is designed to get us fitter and stronger together as a club. 🚨 CCWC 2026 Days 1 and 2 Recap:

🎉First ever 500m distance medal for the club! 🎉
🥉 Our Senior A Mixed Small boat 500m debuted at CCWC and our crew came 3rd in the grand final!

✅ Prem Mixed 500m crew shaved over 6s since 2024 CCWC. Our crew came 5th in the minor final (13th placing)

✅ Prem gendered 500m crews both made it into the semi finals.

✅ Senior A Women Small boat 500m debuted as well and came 6th in the grand final! ✨

Huge effort across the entire club. 500m is done, next up, 200m distances! LFG! 🔥

ACCA x CCWC — 3 WEEKS TO GO until ACCAs 3rd CCWC! 🇹🇼🔥

Today we got to host our final training camp at our new site, and we absolutely loved being on the Cooks River 🚣‍♂️ (and watching planes take off!

We put our new Standard boat on the water alongside our trusty (and very tippy 😅) 10s boat, putting in the work and practising for everything and anything. Including our makeshift starting gate 🛞.

🤪 💯 vibes & plenty of laughs ✅
💪🏽 Solid boat runs & quality practice ✅
🌯 Great location with good food (yum!)

❤️🖤 ACCA x Aus Auroras Hopefuls 💚💛

A big shout out to our 15 ACCA paddlers who were invited to trial for the Australian National Dragon Boat Team this weekend 🦘

They took on the icy waters of Canberra, proudly represented ACCA, competed alongside the country’s best for a place on the national team.

We’re proud to see so many of our paddlers continuing ACCA’s tradition of national representation. It takes dedication, resilience and an incredible community behind every athlete.

Good luck to everyone who trialled this weekend. Know that your ACCA Fam is here to back you on every stroke of the way 💪❤️🖤
