Another very successful tournament done and dusted. Winners of the prizes sponsored by Catalyst Metals and cluBarham were the Gunbower mixed-baggers. Runners-up were from Cohuna Golf.
If people weren't already filled to the brim with the baked spuds and sponges for lunch, they were certainly overflowing after making their selection from the nine different desserts on offer. Kate certainly excelled in the kitchen. Thanks to everyone who chipped in to help in so many ways. It was a great way to spend April 1st.

Pyramid Hill Bowling Club extends hearty congratulations to all Premiership winners in NDPA, 2026. Special mention to Barham Midweek Pennant Division 1 team who went on to win the Murray Mallee Regional final after winning the NDPA Premiership Also a shout out to Wakool who finished the season with two Premierships, Midweek Division 2 and Saturday Division 1. A fantastic achievement by a smaller club. Good stuff award to Cohuna Div 3 Weekend Pennant Premiers. And sincere thanks to all the well wishers who congratulated our own Pyramid Hill team on winning Weekend Pennant Division 2. Congratulations to everyone of you.

We at PHBC are so thrilled to have won a Saturday Pennant Premiership after an approximate 30 year drought. We express congratulations also to our opponents over the finals series - Cohuna Golf, Wakool and Barham. Each competition was played in great spirit. You are all amazing competitors but gracious in defeat. We felt some of you willing us on to win the Grand Final and appreciate your support. Well done to Cohuna BC who restored their facility so beautifully following the adversity of the storm damage. We will savour this winning feeling for a while yet. A big shout out to all supporters.

Congratulations to our Pyramid Hill Division 2 who managed to score a win over Barham in the first round of finals played at Kerang today. Wins on all three rinks made it a comprehensive victory. Kerang deserve congratulations on the way they hosted, catered for and coordinated 120 bowlers plus spectators and officials. Thanks to Barham for a great contest played with good sporstmanship. Our little Club is feeling proud. Well done to all.

Bowlers from across the state congregated at Pyramid Hill yesterday to contest the Fours section of the Carnival. The Barham/Leitchville combination knocked out the team from Warrnambool to be winners and move on the final matches. The players were extremely impressed with our greens, our catering and hospitality.

Pyramid Hill Bowling Club members are deeply mourning the passing of their friend and fellow bowler, Lorraine Dingwall. Sadly, Lorraine passed away this morning relieved of her pain. On the greens and around the Club, Lorraine gave her all, serving the PHBC in numerous ways including being a member of the Board of Management and team Selector. Her presence will be felt as a great loss. The PHBC extends sincere sympathy to Lorraine's family.
