Form Fitness 2025 Wrap

A year of strength, consistency, and progress
As we wrap up 2025, we want to say a huge thank you to our Form Fitness community.
This year was built on showing up, putting in the work, and backing each other across all Form Fitness locations.

Here’s a snapshot of what we achieved together.
2025 by the numbers
• 14,111 personal training sessions completed
• 3,759 Independent and Flow session attendances
• 8 women deadlifting 100 kg
• 17 men benching 100 kg

Strength isn’t just numbers on a bar. It’s consistency, effort, and progress over time.

Proud of this community. Bring on 2026 💙💪

A massive congratulations to all of our members who competed in the FORM FITNESS Strength Competition over the weekend!

The atmosphere was electric, the support between lifters was incredible, and the performances were seriously impressive. Whether it was your first comp or you’re a seasoned lifter, you should be incredibly proud of the way you showed up, not just for yourself, but for each other.

The day was filled with big lifts, loud cheers, and plenty of PBs.
It was a true reflection of what makes this community special, commitment, courage, and connection.

Congratulations to LC 🏆, the top female lifter at our inaugural Strength Competition held on 5th July 2025 at our Lane Cove location. We couldn't be happier with how the day went!

Squat 72kg, Bench 42.5kg, Deadlift 103kg, Relative Strength: 3.12

Appreciate your kind words LC!

"Thank you so much for today.
I knew it would be great to see other Lindfield crew and meet new ones, but I wasn’t ready for how enthralling it would be, watching everyone else lift.

Nathaniel and the other big lifters were inspirations. I fully intend on taking some of their showmanship and self-hype into my job.

The highlight of the day was when the whole gym stopped to cheer Josh on in his bench press third attempt, and him getting it. The collective energy was palpable, and the triumph on his face when he got up was something else. Leo and I were swiping away tears through our applause.
You looked after us so well, with the whole staff on, and generous snacks and drinks.

The enormous time and careful thought you dedicated to the planning certainly paid off – it ran like a well-oiled machine – but with all that hard work, and your ceaseless enthusiasm, you guys must be exhausted!

I know I’m not alone in saying that you’ve given us all something in today that we’ll forever remember.
Thank you!
-LC"

At Form Fitness, we prioritise quality coaching over short-term trends. In this series, we explore:

✅ The importance of one-on-one personal training for real strength gains

✅ Why shorter PT sessions don’t deliver the best results

✅ The rise of group training and its limitations for strength development

✅ How we balance PT, group classes, and open gym access without compromising on quality

Appreciate your kind words Michael!

"The Team and the Customer Service is unlike anything I have experienced.
The systems and the thought that has gone in to create the program/s to systematically enhance your bodies form via the exercises that they have crafted so well.
I am a 73year old that is running around now like a 30 year old with the form of Form Fitness in only a matter of weeks.
Very well done to the entire team 😊🥇🏆 🏆 🏆"

Polarised training is an exercise approach that divides your workout intensity into three levels: low, moderate, and high. This method encourages spending most of your workout time at low intensity, some at high intensity, and very little at moderate intensity.

This approach has been widely studied and proven effective, especially for improving overall fitness and endurance. By avoiding the drawbacks of moderate-intensity workouts and reaping the benefits of both low and high-intensity exercises, polarised training offers a balanced and effective strategy for everyone.

However, group fitness classes often fall into the “grey zone” of moderate intensity, which can hinder progress and lead to less-than-optimal results...

The next thing to look when writing a program for you is your lifestyle. Consistent training will lead to results, and as we’ve discussed, the simplest way to stay consistent is to make the process really easy to follow. So we ask questions like: *How many days a week can you realistically dedicate to training? What time of day do you prefer to train?* or *How much exercise can you commit to outside of your personal training sessions?* Then, we build the plan based around your responses.

The fifth thing we consider is your personality type and what you enjoy. This is an often overlooked, but very important factor when it comes to long term results. You don’t have to be obsessed with the gym, but if we can base your training around exercises you enjoy (or hate less) and find ways to make the training more fun, you’re more likely to stick to it. Plus, the whole point of going to the gym is to get more out of life, so it doesn’t make sense to force yourself to do something that you hate every single day.

The last thing we consider is how your body is responding. Did you know that everyone responds to the same training stimulus slightly differently? That’s why we won’t just write you a program then send you on your way. We are constantly checking to see how your body is responding, and adjusting the program throughout the process. Then, we use this information to inform our future programming decisions so that every plan we make is the perfect fit for you.

So there you have it. These are our 6 best techniques for building a program that’s designed perfectly around you and what you enjoy. This is your secret weapon to being consistent over time.

Like Goldilocks said, *It’s not too big, it’s not too small… it’s just right*.
