A Friday reminder from the gym’s Chief Wellness Officer 🐾💙

You don’t need to have the perfect week to make progress.

One workout won’t change your life.
One healthy meal won’t transform your health.
But consistently showing up for yourself, day after day, absolutely will.

As we head into the weekend, remember that fitness isn’t about punishment, it’s about taking care of the body that carries you through life.

Move a little.
Stretch a little.
Laugh a lot.
And don’t forget to celebrate the small wins along the way.

Your future self will thank you for every step you take today.

Happy Friday from the cutest member of our team. 🐶✨

Women in our 50s may be living vastly differently lives, but we are all working towards to same goal - to feel stronger, more capable and confident with each passing year. 💙💪💚

Most people spend their time focusing on the pebbles because they’re easier and often more exciting. But it’s the boulders - movement, nutrition, recovery, connection, and consistency - that create the biggest changes in your health and fitness.

This was harder than I thought it would be! 😅

I felt pretty comfortable with double-leg plyo box jumps, so I figured it was time to try a single-leg version. What I didn’t expect was how much I had to talk myself into it.

Landing on one leg on an unstable, elevated surface felt a lot more challenging mentally than physically. I was definitely thinking about ankle stability and what could go wrong, especially on my weaker side.

But once I committed it was actually ok, I just had to get past the mental hurdle.

Single-leg box jumps help improve balance, coordination, ankle stability, lower-body strength, and power. They also challenge each side independently, helping to identify and improve weaknesses.

Keep challenging yourself.
Keep trying new things.
You might surprise yourself! ☺️💪
