Saturday Orienteering Series this weekend is at North Rocks Public School. The school is a great supporter of orienteering. The event is ideal preparation for Sydney West Schools Champs early in term 3. All welcome to attend - kids, adults, families, beginners and regulars. Start anytime between 9:30 and 11am. Students from North Rocks Public School have complimentary entry.

A touch of football this morning at Saturday Orienteering Series with Football Maze O added to the usual courses! A fun way to finish the series and celebrate the World Cup Football tournament. Well done Ben on managing 417 downloads for the morning with around 150 participants. We have a bonus event next week at North Rocks Public School. See you there!

Saturday Orienteering Series kicks off at Davidson Park, Forestville on the north shore of Middle Harbour. We have a maze and a football ⚽️ orienteering 🧭 challenge. We guarantee the ref won’t go down with a cramp towards the end of the game 😹. Starts are anytime between 9:30am and 11am. See you there!

The Socceroos play USA at 5am Saturday morning. Carefully timed so you can watch the game and then attend Saturday Orienteering Series at Davidson Park, Forestville! We have a maze for the event. In celebration of the World Cup Football, we are having a competition to see who can dribble a soccer ball ⚽️ whilst orienteering through the maze in the quickest time!

There’ll also be head to head racing through the maze and a BBQ for the event.

There is an $8 NPWS car park fee.

All welcome to attend. Pre-entries preferred. Start anytime between 9:30 and 11am. See you there!

A beautiful Sydney winter day for Saturday Orienteering Series yesterday. The assembly area was on the Parramatta River in a park nestled between 2 cafes and offering spectacular views. Nice turn out and scenic viewing on the courses. Next week's event is a change of scenery in the north shore bushland at Forestville.

What do Mount Everest and Cabarita Park have in common?...

Well, 29 May is Mount Everest Day, and today the Sydney Nepalese community was celebrating the anniversary at Cabarita Park just as Saturday Orienteering Series was getting into full swing.

It was a wonderful sharing of space in this beautiful harbourside location on a perfect Sydney autumn day — and a nice reminder of the recent Bold Horizons journey to Everest Base Camp.

Thanks to everyone who joined us today. Next week we have a break and then we’re off to Meadowbank the week after!

Saturday Orienteering Series is on this weekend at Cabarita Park. Enjoy a harbourside run 🏃‍♂️ 🏃 🏃‍♀️ along the boardwalk and through the fig trees and hedges.
