Classes $20 per for one, $30 for two in the same night. Social only for band nights $25, or just $15 on top of your class ticket.

Intermediates had fun working of techniques to swingout to higher tempos, then we did a curly whirly Charleston move into tandem!

🎶 Intermediate Class Recap — Technique, challenge, and big breakthroughs

Our Intermediate crew really dug deep last Thursday. We pushed into some technically heavy movement, exploring rhythm changes, footwork precision, and connection techniques that nudged everyone into exciting new territory. You could feel the focus in the room — and the breakthroughs were so worth it.

Weekly schedule:

• 6pm — Total Beginners
Brand new dancers welcome every week.
• 7:15pm — Beginner Plus
You should know the Swing Out; we build your repertoire with classic rhythms and steps.

For dancers ready to experiment with rhythm, refine technique, and level up their repertoire.

A little glimpse into the rhythm, energy, and smiles from last Thursday’s Lindy Hop classes at Swing Patrol CBD Melbourne.
This week we explored adding Frankie‑inspired 6‑count shapes and styling into our 8‑count patterns, starting with a Texas Tommy refresh.

• 6pm — Total Beginners
• 7:15pm — Beginner Plus (Swing Out required; next Learn to Swing Out Series starts 2nd week of June)

A look at last Thursday’s Lindy Hop classes at Swing Patrol CBD Melbourne!
We focused on transitioning between side‑by‑side Charleston and 6‑count rhythms — everyone rose to the challenge beautifully.

📍 Melbourne City Ballroom. Level 3, 673 Bourke St (entry via Godfrey Street)

🕕 6pm — Total Beginners
Perfect for brand‑new dancers. We cover the fundamentals, rhythm, connection, and classic beginner shapes to get you moving with confidence.

🕢 7:15pm — Beginner Plus
For dancers who know the Swing Out and have taken some Total Beginner classes. We expand your repertoire with essential rhythms, classic moves, and technique foundations.
✨ Don’t miss our “Learn to Swing Out” series starting June 11 — three Thursdays dedicated to building your Swing Out from the ground up. It’s the ideal bridge from Total Beginner to Beginner Plus.

• 6pm Total Beginners — no experience needed.
• 7:15pm Beginners Plus — Swing Out knowledge recommended.
• 8:30pm Intermediate / Intermediate Plus — for dancers wanting to expand on their social dancing and explore more rhythm play.
