Have been a bit slack with the updates lately as it’s such a busy time of the year. These 6 lovely guests were our first girl group, and they were absolutely fantastic. They made the most of their time with all the animals, the buffalo’s were on everyone’s favourite list 👌😉

We really needed the rain, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of our guests. They were more than happy to enjoy the farm in between showers and get up close and personal with all our pets. The beautiful Cindy-Lou was absolutely perfect for her camp debut, she really is the sweetest little cow. Even the usual campfire and marshmallow toasting went ahead, we just moved it indoors.
No time to rest, the next group are already on their way 🐮🌸🐑🌼🐴

August was a hectic, jam packed month for us. 4 camps, 18 students, 4 lambs born, cattle drenched, yards built and a lot of good times had. Riding on the back of the ute is always a highlight for the kids, as well as being absolutely amazed by how beautiful the stars are when the sky is so big. A little downtime now before our next guests arrive 😉

This week we welcomed Teppei, Sora, Kyan and Leo from Bunka Gakuen University in Japan. The boys told us that “this place is more fun than an amusement park”, they then offered to stay and work for us forever for free. I hope their families enjoy hearing all about their great Aussie adventure when they arrive home.

This week we had had the pleasure of sharing the Aussie experience with Sho, Tatsuya, Yusuke and Tsukasa from Tsuchiura, Japan. They had a request to be able to catch a yabbie, and were successful. They also got to shear (or attempt to) a sheep, explore the bush, have some Vegemite, meet plenty of wildlife and ride on the back of the Ute to feed the cows. The boys said they loved that they were allowed to drive around on top of the car 😳😬 I hope that translates well when they explain it to their families back home 🤞🤦‍♀️
