Spring School Holiday Camps locally at Panania Tennis Centre!

Hi everyone,

Our KTP Sports Spring School Holiday Camps are now open for bookings!

Designed for kids aged 5–16, our camps are a fun, active way to spend the school holidays. No previous experience is needed — just come ready to play, learn and have fun.

We’re running camps at:

Punchbowl – Moxon Sports Club
Mon 28 September – Thu 1 October

Panania – Panania Tennis Centre
Tue 6 October – Fri 9 October

Camp times: 9:00am–3:30pm
1–2 days: $80 per day
3 days: $220
4 days: $280
Half day: $45 per day

Plus, there’ll be a pizza party on the last day! 🍕

Congratulations to CBTA Junior Development and Promotions Officer, Gen, for receiving a prize in the East Hills Sports Photograph Competition - Summer Sports from Kylie Wilkinson MP. Gen's capture of an Interdistrict representative player keeping her eye on the ball was a winning photograph displayed among a number of other local sporting club submissions!

Big congratulations to CBTA Crackanthorp and McAndrew Cup teams that played off in matches today! Both teams were even on sets with the U12 girls even on sets and games! Can't get a closer match! Great effort by all players finishing and receiving with Runners Up! Super proud of your efforts today and well done representing your district! 🏅🏅

CBTA are partnering with Active Canterbury-Bankstown to provide a Multisport Clinic this School Holidays!! The event will run at Panania Tennis Centre from 9AM - 1PM with BBQ lunch provided.

Come and try:
🎾 Tennis
⚽ Soccer/Futsal
🏓 Pickleball

Suitable for all skill levels! 5-12yrs of age.
Parking and access located behind Panania Diggers Club.

Canterbury Bankstown Tennis Association Annual General Meeting
DATE: Wednesday 23 September, 2026
TIME: 7:30pm
VENUE: Memories Function Room, Club Condell Park, 178 Eldridge Rd

All members and guests are welcome at the CBTA 2026 AGM.

All positions on the Board/Committee will be declared vacant and open for nomination. Nominations close Mon 7 Sept 5pm. Nomination form is available on our website.

CBTA manages 5 tennis centres for City of Canterbury Bankstown. A range of skills and experience are needed to fulfil tasks for the association, tennis background is not essential! Apply now to join us!

Our Annual Report 2025/2026 will be available on the night of AGM.

CBTA has been selected to participate in the Tennis Australia Women and Girls initiative READY 2 RALLY! Our team of volunteer committee and coaches have recently attended training sessions on and off the court to prepare us! As part of the program we will be developing an Action Plan for Women and Girls, creating a project group and a survey will be sent out to our members shortly to assist us in developing this Plan. The program also includes 2 x 6 week tennis programs for girls so stay tuned on more coming on this in the next few weeks! We are excited to bring this new initiative to Canterbury Bankstown! 👭

CBTA is calling for Nominations to join our volunteer committee for 2026-2027!

We have a busy year ahead with management of 5 tennis centres continuing, new facility upgrades, expanding local competitions, new TNSW female tennis initiatives and programs, partnership programs with Active Canterbury-Bankstown and much more! To facilitate all of this for our tennis community, we need volunteer helpers with a range of skills and experience including administration, planning and project management, funding and grants, running competitions and social events, report writing or social media and promotions, no tennis knowledge needed!!

So come along and help us and the community of Canterbury Bankstown by either having a chat to understand our available roles better and submitting a Nomination form!
