Heats are during the day, evening extravaganza starts at 7:30pm with the floorshow by Lily and Leo (doors at 7), and a meet and greet with Kyle Shilling in the foyer at 6:45pm.

On top of all of Australia's most wonderful dancers competing on floor for their titles, four things are also true...

1. Home and Away star and 2025 Dancing with the Stars Australia Champion Kyle Shilling will be at the TasOpen to cheer floorside and meet and greet fans in the foyer at 6:45pm
2. Lily and Leo (both Dancing with the Stars Champions) will wow the audience with their opening floor show...
3. Lily will be performing next week at the Logies with Robert Irwin...
4. Tickets for the TasOpen are selling fast, and now that Floorside and Table tickets are sold out, A Reserve gets you closest to the action.

Launceston dancer Lily Cornish will debut two new routines with Italian partner Leonardo Lini at the Tasmanian Open DanceSport Championship at the Silverdome on Saturday.

Next week she will perform at the Logies with Robert Irwin.

Lini has flown in for the Launceston championships after Cornish’s original partner Kyle Shilling, her 2025 Dancing with the Stars Australia winning partner, was ruled out through injury.

Cornish said the hometown performance carries extra weight because it will be her first Australian show with Lini, in front of family, friends and the Tasmanian dance community.

Nine-time World Latin Champion Bryan Watson will also feature.

Featuring a spectacular opening floor show with Lily Cornish, a Dancing with the Stars Australia dual champion and professional dancer who recently returned from performing on the US series of Dancing with the Stars. Lily will be joined by internationally acclaimed dancer Leo Lini from Italy. Leo recently won Dancing with the Stars Ireland 2026 and has been wowing audiences on stages across Europe with Lily as his dance partner.

Kyle Shilling from Home & Away, Lily's celebrity partner and the 2025 Dancing with the Stars Australian champion will also be there for a meet and greet in the Silverdome foyer at 6:45pm.

📣 Update on the Opening Floor Show for the 7 Tasmania Open DanceSport Championships

The 7 Tasmania Open DanceSport Championships features a spectacular opening floor show with Lily Cornish, a Dancing with the Stars Australia dual champion and professional dancer who recently returned from performing on the US series of Dancing with the Stars.

Kyle Shilling, Lily's celebrity partner and the 2025 Dancing with the Stars Australian champion, was looking forward to performing for the Tasmanian audience after attending last year; however, due to an injury he cannot safely perform the demanding lifts required for the floor show. Kyle will still attend the event, cheer from the sidelines, and be there for a meet and greet in the Silverdome foyer at 6:45pm.

Lily will now be joined by internationally acclaimed dancer Leo Lini from Italy. Leo recently won Dancing with the Stars Ireland 2026 and has been wowing audiences on stages across Europe with Lily as his dance partner.

We look forward to seeing you all at the event for a stunning night of competition featuring some of Australia's most talented ballroom dancers vying for the title, the prize purse and the roar of the crowd.
