A breeding ground for tomorrow's soccer superstars Liverpool Rangers is a friendly, family club with a strong emphasis on women’s and girls’ football.

It sees youngsters grow towards adulthood, with many earlier players still playing and coaching. Some have even gone onto greater things, playing for national league and overseas teams.

We need to flood the council meeting with as many players, coaches, families, life members and Rangers community as possible all in Rangers Blue!

Let’s show Liverpool Council that our voice matters and that we want to save our fields!!

This isn’t about politics or personal agenda. This is about what is best for not only Liverpool Rangers but for the residents around Ireland Park.

OUR Masterplan is a plan for the future and would deliver a venue that provides first class facilities for the community.

After our Junior Presentation, we encourage everyone to stick around and have their say in the future direction of our club. This is your opportunity to share your ideas, contribute to important discussions, and help shape the future of Liverpool Rangers.

Still fighting for Ireland Park. And we need you again.

Liverpool City Council votes TOMORROW on the future of Ireland Park.

They are backing the 2024 Masterplan that cuts field space.

Our community spent 2 years helping create the 2026 Masterplan that PROTECTS our fields and ADDS what Liverpool actually needs:

✅ Safe walking track for our elders
✅ More parking (not less)
✅ Kids playground, off-leash dog park & outdoor gym
✅ Better amenities for everyone

This park raised generations of Rangers kids. It's where first goals are scored and friendships are made. Let's not lose it.

Councillor Zeli Munjiza has put in a rescission motion to bring it back to vote tomorrow. Your signature gives her the backing she needs.

📣 LIVERPOOL RANGERS STANDS FOR GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL

This morning, our Club President, Matt McMah, had the privilege of speaking live on radio with 2SM Super Radio Network 2sm1269am to discuss the proposed Liverpool City Council Master Plan for Ireland Park and the potential impact on our playing fields.

As highlighted in recent media coverage, the proposed redevelopment raises serious concerns about the future of grassroots football in our community, including reduced playing space, increased pressure on club resources and the potential for higher registration fees for local families.

For Liverpool Rangers, this is about more than just fields. It’s about protecting opportunities for our children to participate in sport, stay active, build friendships and develop important life skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Our club is proud to provide affordable, accessible football for families across our community. Preserving our existing playing fields is essential to ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy the game we all love.

We understand the importance of community facilities and future planning, but we believe this must be balanced with the needs of the thousands of players, families, volunteers and sporting organisations who rely on Ireland Park.

Our message is clear: grassroots sport matters, our playing fields matter, and our children’s future matters.

We thank Matt for representing Liverpool Rangers and helping bring these important concerns to the wider community.

This is a petition to Liverpool City Council to reverse the decision that would see us lose 25% of our playing field space and endorse the 2026 Masterplan which ensures we maintain our current field space but also upgrades Ireland Park to a first class facility.

PROUD DOESN’T EVEN COVER IT! 💙

Our Liverpool Rangers U12 Boys have just finished 12th out of 28 teams at the Sydney International Cup.

Whats even more impressive is that we were the ONLY grassroots team competing against all academy sides. No academy, just local boys with big hearts.

They fought for every ball, played with a smile, and represented Liverpool Rangers with class on and off the field.

12th place, but number 1 in our eyes. You did us proud boys!

Our Liverpool Rangers U12 Division 1 boys are off to compete in the Sydney International Cup, taking on some of the best teams from Australia, New Zealand and Asia!

From 2nd - 5th October, our boys will proudly represent Liverpool Rangers and wear our colours with pride. 💙🤍

Boys, this is your moment! Believe in yourselves, back each other, play with heart and enjoy every second of this incredible experience.
