Curves come in all shapes and sizes 👉🏻 there’s no one rule that fits everyone.

Every scoliosis is individual. While we often see common patterns, we have to work with the spine in front of us and provide cues and movement specific to that person.

Here I am with a new client in class no. 3. Having never done scoliosis-specific exercises before, she’s beginning to understand her curves and we’re already seeing some lovely changes.

Well done 👏 It’s hard work, but it’s paying off.

Having scoliosis means I have to work on my spine every day. I’m not going to fix it, but there’s a lot I can do to help myself live a normal, active and pain-free life.

After a long day of teaching, I can really feel the tension and tightness build up in my body. From the hips all the way up to the neck … BUT taking just 5 minutes to realign and reset helps so much. And understanding how to do this is 🔑

A quick reset, a little movement, and I feel unstuck again.

** NEW CLASS ** Reformer for 65+ 💪🏻

New to the schedule and starting next week, this reformer class is designed for people 65yrs and over focusing on balance, strength and gentle stretching. It’s ideal for individuals with no current injuries who want to move safely and confidently.

With a maximum of six participants, the class offers a supportive group reformer setting at a slower pace, where control and technique are the priority.

(If you’re not 65+, but this class sounds like you, of course you are welcome to join!)

🔈 Welcoming a new teacher to the studio! Madeleine (Mads) has done the hard yards. Over the last month or so she has been attending classes, observing classes, observing bodies, learning client names and becoming familiar with the T Form way… and ultimately becoming part of the crew, and the result has been a smooth transition into teaching, and she’s getting great feedback!

A bit about Mads;

She’s loved Pilates since her teens and hasn’t looked back. After moving from London to Melbourne in early 2025, she now teaches full-time, blending her classical London training with a fresh, contemporary twist.

Inspired by her own knee injury (a double tear in her left meniscus - ouch!) she’s pursuing clinical training and has a passion for alignment, control and mindful that suits the individual which is just what we like at T Form.

Her classes are fun, challenging and full of variety. What to expect… a bit of British humour, discover some new muscles you didn’t know existed and to leave smiling.
