We move with the speed of the Internet. Established in June 2010 our primary goal was the honest reporting of snow conditions. In June 2012 we expanded this by incorporating the Instagram phenomenon to allow our readers to submit their own photos of their ski day with the hashtag. This was a massive hit. We also partnered with the top ski brands in Australia and reviewed dozens of mod
els of skis and other ski products. This was such a big hit that we decided to open a store. Online retail in Australia is a joke. But we don’t find that funny, and we’re doing something about it. All too often when it comes to retail in this country the customer is the afterthought after making sure ‘the industry’ is looked after. That’s not the case with us. It is our stated aim to provide the best online shopping experience of ski & snow-related gear in Australia. We will be using best-of-breed technologies to power this presence, and back it up with customer service that is beyond reproach. Our beginning is modest and sustainable, but the site will be continuously evaluated and the upgrades will be frequent. We have the significant advantage of internal development skills which means less cost to be passed on to the consumer. But online isn’t for everyone, so we also have a physical store located at 2 Grattan St Prahran 3181. You can come down, check out items in person, try on your size and chat with us and share our experience. We won’t bu****it you and we won’t let you leave with a product we don’t feel is the very best for your needs. If you’ve seen something cheaper elsewhere you can show us on our in-store computers and we can work out a deal that’s fair for both of us. We are doing this because we’re passionate about skiing, and passionate about helping skiers. We have both attained the highest qualification available to ski instructors in Australia – the APSI Level IV – and a proven track record of going above & beyond to enhance the experience of the skiers we taught. We travel extensively and ski for ourselves whenever possible, with a combination of knowledge that incorporates beginner skiing needs right through to experts, on-piste and off, backcountry, freestyle and terrain park.
