Ginger, tumeric, lemon and honey gummies. I’ve been a bit under the weather so am trying to boost myself and my family with some nutritious snacks. Another win for the lunchbox! I made these last night and this is how much was left when I woke up. How do people keep up with their boys appetites!

Easy gummy recipe.

*1 1/2 cups of any liquid or puree (for these a slowly simmered sliced ginger and tumeric for 30 mins and added half squeezed lemon)
*4 tablespoons grass fed sustainably sourced gelatin (I used )
*1/3 cup water for blooming gelatin
*Honey or sweetener to taste (I used 1tsp for these)
*Molds or container for refrigeration

Bloom gelatin in 1/3 cup water (basically mix then together and set aside
Warm 1 1/2 cups liquid on stove top
Once warm add the honey and bloomed gelatin
Turn off heat and mix through until dissolved
Cool down and transfer to molds or container and refrigerate for a couple hrs.
Enjoy!

I’ve just made my best jerky combo yet! I can confirm it’s a hit with the kids because half of my dehydrator was empty by the time I woke up. The boys ate so much for breakfast 😂 These are the best. I also marinated the meat in coconut aminos and a little bit of chilli sauce as my boys don’t mind a bit of spice. Success! Have you tried making beef Jerky before?

Hello Community. Just posting this here in case I’ve missed anyone. I’ve cancelled Mindful Movers Class tomorrow Tuesday 14th Oct as I’m unwell. Back on next week! Some progressions of one of the balance exercises I like to use. It’s a total body exercise and can be modified to suit most people. You can start with no weights and progress from there. I’ve listed 3 options starting from easiest. Hip hinging is quite challenging for a lot of people so master the hip hinge first. Your back will thank you. Need help just ask 🌞

We have a name! We decided Mindful Movers was a great fit as this class is about really noticing how we move and perform every day tasks rather than mindlessly moving through the motions. It’s never too late to improve and no matter what level you’re at there’s a place for you. Everything is modifiable. I don’t believe in the no pain no gain motto. I love teaching this class meeting new people and seeing familiar faces each week. When I see everyone getting stronger and more stable and it fills my heart with joy.
