Calling all kids wanting to try tennis for their sport.

Looking for a summer sport. This is a great way to learn and also meet other kids.

Hotshots teaches your kids those skills of tennis thru fun games and play.

Our first age group to start the season is getting ready for match play should you choose with our Surry District Junior competition that plays Saturday mornings.

Or keep going with hot shots right thru the tennis season with a break over Christmas and January.

Our younger group joining in and starting 21st October 2026 for 6 weeks.

We are excited to be having a come and try day for juniors 8-15.

We have Saturday morning CGrade and B Grade Saturday afternoon along with the Adult teams.

We also have a B grade competition on a Tuesday evening.
We would really love any juniors who would like to play to come and have a chat this Tuesday 430 pm

We want to boost our junior club members . Bring a friend and see if this is a sport you’d like to be a part of .
Lots of exciting opportunities with singles competition running in the south west the season. Portland will be hosting two of these events.

Anyone interested in playing SDTA tennis this season with Lawn please send us a message. We are looking for both junior and senior players. Juniors play on Saturday mornings and seniors Saturday afternoon from 1:30pm. Looking forward to hearing from you 🎾😀🎾

Our club relies on volunteers and we’re looking for some fresh faces to help guide the next chapter of Portland Lawn Tennis Club.

We’d especially love to strengthen our finance team, so if you have bookkeeping, accounting, administration or budgeting skills (or would like to learn), we’d love to hear from you.

All committee positions are open and we’d love to welcome new members with ideas and enthusiasm.

If you’ve ever enjoyed being part of our club, this is a wonderful way to give back and help ensure tennis continues to thrive in Portland.

We are looking for interested people whose interest lies in teaching kids tennis as a support person .

The future of our club is in our juniors.
There is this education coming up in two weeks . So if you’re interested or know someone who is please share or tag them in this one.

We are hoping to run tennis right thru from before the season starts and then having a program running thru the season.

To do this we need help.

If you’re a parent who’d like to see your kids learn you’re welcome too.
