What a day - after a huge gap from round 1 at 9:48am today to round 2 at 6:48pm, rounds 3 & 4 came very quickly at 8:09pm and 8:58pm. We got through round 3 against Carlos Harvey. It was a double red light but lucky for us, his was first. Ava went 8.06 on a 8.04 dial in. Round 4 against Karl Schulz, Ava went 8.06 on a 8.05 but he got her on the tree. It has been a great day though, and Ava is happy with her efforts. She told me that she would be happy to get to round 4 and I think to make it to the top 7 out of a field of 50 is pretty exceptional. We are very proud of our girl and will be cheering on those who are still in tomorrow before starting the journey home.
