Port Mussels is a small club based at the Portarlington Swimming Pool. We attend swim squads and take part in Masters Swimming Competitions during the winter months. During the summer months we take part in the local ocean swims, including the Point Lonsdale Rip View Classic, the Queenscliff Blue Water Challenge and the Indented Head Wreck to Reef Swim. During the summer we have a group swim at Indented Head on a Sunday afternoon.

Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club has made the difficult decision to cancel our Hotondo Homes Ocean Open Water Swim on Australia Day.

With the current COVID-19 situation our responsibility for the safety of our volunteers, competitors and the local community became the primary consideration in arriving at this decision.

Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club has chosen to preserve our Surf Life Savers and prioritise our primary responsibility to provide patrolling members for our beach.

We apologise for the inconvenience and will provide full refunds to all those who have registered for the event. We thank you for your understanding in this challenging time for all.

Stay Safe & we look forward to welcoming you all back to our Hotondo Homes Ocean Open Water Swim in 2023!

Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club’s Annual Ocean Open Water Swim is BACK with thanks to Hotondo Homes 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️🏊

Come and join us for all the fun and festivities on 🇦🇺 AUSTRALIA DAY Wednesday 26th January 2022

Events include-
🏊🏻‍♀️ 400m Junior/Novice Swim from approx. 8.15am
🏊🏼 1.2km Classic Swim from approx. 10am
🏊🏻‍♂️ 2.5km Enduro Swim from approx. 9am

Registrations are accepted online until 30 minutes before your event.

Online pricing, all distances:
* Age 18+ $60 (individuals)
* Age under 18 $30
* Entry price includes a swim cap and souvenir towel, to be collected on the day along with timing bands.

We are committed to delivering a COVIDSafe event. All entrants will be asked to sign in via QR code. Entrants aged 12 years and 2 months and older will be required to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination at sign in.
