I’ve had my battles with weight, with my body, with depression, and I’ve fought hard and learnt many lessons through failing time and time again. In Strength, you will be instructed how to perform exercises correctly, with modifications given where required. The small classes ensure that you get personal attention and maximum benefit.

In Mobility, the stretches will have you feeling taller, looser and much more comfortable in your body. You'll have more movement and less discomfort.

I don't have kids but I find this subject really fascinating, maybe it's why I'm studying Psychology. I don't know the solution to this problem because it must be very hard to allow your children the freedom to roam unsupervised but maybe that is what is necessary to get them off devices that are destroying all of our brains. If you are interested in this topic, this guy is a renowned researcher and author and is worth a follow.

Children who were raised on screens need more freedom out in the real world.

I have over 2 decades of experience in the fitness industry. My age, experience and qualifications mean that I am more capable of looking after your needs and providing any modifications you might require.

My classes are maxed at 5 participants. This way I can watch each individual and give appropriate cues and instructions. One on one sessions are purely dedicated to your needs and can be done online if this suits you better.

I work with people with no experience, starting with foundations and building up from there.

I work with people who already have experience and take them further on their journey.

I work with people with injuries, with joint replacements and with limited movement. We find the best exercises for them and make modifications where necessary. We do mobility work to improve range of motion and balance work to ensure safety.

Our number one tool for staying young, vibrant and independent is exercise, and particularly strength exercise. This means picking up weights, it does not mean going for walks, or doing pilates.

If there is one piece of advice I wish every one would adopt it is to be consistent with your exercise. Put simply, that means doing something every single day. You get what you do most of so if you exercise occasionally, you won’t make progress. The same goes for your diet, if you eat well some days but don’t create consistency, you won’t make progress.

Instigating a routine and sticking with it, not allowing yourself to make excuses (which only makes it easier to drop out next time) creates consistency. With consistency, you progress, you feel the changes, you start to see the changes, this motivates you to continue.

I don’t have children and so I cannot fully understand this issue. As an observer, I do worry about the future - I know full well how attached I am to my phone and how difficult I can find it to pull my attention away from social media. How can we expect children to manage their time in this regard when adults struggle with the same problem?
