Our final show for the season was held yesterday afternoon as we all got together at the Risdon Hotel for our annual keg day. A big thank you to the Risdon Hotel for once again sponsoring us and to all the South Port players and supporters who turned up.

Awesome to see so many people there and to also have representatives from so many of our other sponsors!

We are calling all South Port supporters to get out and show their support as the B grade attempt to break a 46 year premiership drought. The A grade will also be pushing to achieve something brilliant, with their eyes set on a 4th Premiership in a row!

After last weeks wet weather, all games were postponed to this Saturday.
The B grade will take on Wandies to try and book their ticket into the Grand Final on Sunday!

Cricket finals kick off tomorrow and what a ripper weekend it’s shaping up to be.
B Grade PPCA:
Wandearah Vs Port Germein at Port oval, 8:30am
Warnertown Vs South Port at Memorial Oval, 8:30am

A Grade RRCA:
Wandearah Vs South Port at Port Oval, 1pm
Proprietary Vs Gladstone/ Georgetown at Memorial Oval, 1pm

Get out for a look and while you’re there, keep your eyes peeled for raffle tickets being sold by all the clubs. $2 a ticket to win 1 of 4 signed cricket bats (Marnus, Pucovski and Merv Hughes)! This will be drawn on Grand Final day so be sure to get your hands on some tickets before they’re sold out.

While we are at it, the PPCA Presentation night will be held at the Port football club on the 28th of February.
Tea’s from 6 - 7:30pm with presentations to follow!

REP RECAP

In the past few weeks our club has seen some of our best get an opportunity to play cricket at a higher level!
Luke Martlew and Harry Bosworth were both selected to represent Upper North in the Under 12 Country Carnival. Both lads played really well, often taking wickets and contributing with the bat when required.
We also had Trey Luteria selected to represent Northern in the Senior country cup. This is the second year in a row Trey has been selected and at the age of 18, hopefully many more carnivals to come!
Fantastic to see these 3 lads doing South Port proud and hats off to all the junior coaches that have put in time and effort to help these lads achieve their selection. 👶🏻 🏏
We would also like to recognise another of our senior cricketers, Adam Bosworth, who was selected to represent South Australia in the over 40s carnival a few weeks ago. Adam has also been selected to represent SA in a veterans match being played against Victoria on the 10th of March! Well done Boz 👴🏻 🏏
