***** Porties 9's - Final Wrap *****
Run & Done for another season 😁, we thank all teams & players for joining in the fun for the Spring 2024 season which seen 10 Mens teams & 4 Womens teams compete and we must thank the weather gods as we were treated to some great nights.
Final games were played Monday night which seen all winning teams having something to play for.... Free Beer, wine or soft drink was enough to keep the most concerted of players happy 😆
The main games seen Fraser Gherigs take on the new kids on the block Ben's Cousins in the Men's & Jetty Jumpers take on the the Pink Falcons for the Women. Both games proved a tight contest with Fraser Gherigs getting over the line by a couple goals & the Jetty Jumpers by 3 points !
Throughout the season, umpires choose their MVP's for each game and at the end of the season, we seen Sam Roberts & Madison Craggs both awarded the Umpires MVP's.
Congratulations and thank you all again to the participants, volunteers & helpers that joined us for another successful season of Porties 9's and we look forward to bringing it back to you all in Spring 2025!.
