Sad day today , all distance signs and target removed . First time in 37 years this paddock has been empty .

Well, we are down to the final week. It will be business as usual up until closing at the end of Sunday, December 21st.

We have been asked to mention that the new guys will be taking over and opening on January 1st. At this stage we haven't been told about their opening hours or prices, but we assume they will be similar to ours with construction starting sometime in 2026.

Hey there all of our loyal customers, as many of you are aware the council has decided not to renew our lease so they can go into partnership with an interstate company to run the range from January next year .

So unfortunately we have to close up shop and leave , our last day operating will be Sunday 21st of December.

As a thank you to all our customers we are giving everyone 30 FREE balls on the 21st , so pleae bring the family down to say goodbye .

Load the car up with a picnic and esky and come have one last hit of golf with us before we are gone .

Looking forward to seeing you all , should be a great last day .

Thanks again for supporting us over the last 2.5 years it has been a pleasure to serve you all and provide an affordable place for you to practice or just have a whack .

Morning all !!

We will be temporarily closed on the morning of Friday, 24th of October until 10am. There will be surveyors on site working on the outfield among other things, and in order to keep them as safe as possible while they work, we wont be able to have anyone hitting.

We have been informed that they should be finished their work on the outfield by 10am. Normal operations should be able to continue from that time.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

We don’t need a multi storey mats and simulator only range that locals can’t afford to use . Thanks for all your support , things not looking good atm 😔

The City of Onkaparinga has long recognised the Port Noarlunga Golf Driving Range as a valuable community asset with significant growth potential.

Following a thorough review of the facility in 2024, council invited expressions of interest (EOI) in April 2025 from third parties interested in investing in and operating the site to help realise that potential.

Council received several compelling proposals through this process, all indicating substantial investment and plans for long-term improvements that will enhance the driving range experience.

Due diligence is now underway to carefully assess the offers, with council expecting to announce the successful operator by the end of 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity that will ensure the driving range remains a vibrant recreational space for existing users, while also attracting new and aspiring golfers to enjoy improved facilities for years to come."
