Momentum Performance Training

Momentum Performance Training Momentum PT is a performance training centre in Port Melbourne. We focus on strength and conditioning

At Momentum Personal Training our philosophy is simple, your body was designed to move. Whether it is running, jumping, lifting, climbing, crawling or cartwheeling, deep down you are craving to just get moving. Unfortunately, over time our lifestyles have adapted and we have become far too accustomed to spending long hours sitting at a desk or on the couch and not nearly enough time moving. Our ai

m is to get you moving in ways you never thought possible to get you results you could only imagine. Throughout the years we have worked with a broad range of clients; from high level athletes to previously inactive seniors and we have realised that everyone just wants to be the best they can be. Whether you are an athlete at the elite level, recreational level or you just want to get in shape to keep up with the kids, we can design and implement a personalised plan to get you into the best shape of your life.

This is what training looks like outside the gym for Libby.

25kg of gear.
Smoke filled rooms.
Search and rescue drills.
Dragging ‘bodies’ out of burning buildings.

On Saturday, Libby spent the day at CFA training running through live fire scenarios at Ballan from service station fires to internal structure rescues.

And this is exactly why we do what we do at Momentum.

Preparing bodies that are built to do things.

Bodies that are stronger under pressure.
Fitter when it matters.
More capable in the real world.

Only a few weeks back into training and Libby could already feel the difference in her conditioning and strength during some of the toughest drills of the day.

Still work to do.
Still building.

But this is what performance first training is all about. Using the gym as a tool to build the strength, fitness and confidence to perform outside of it.

More ⏱️ or better 📝

When you want to get better results, you generally jump to the conclusion of having to fit more in.

The pro move is to make sure you are making the most of the time you already have.

The goal isn’t to destroy yourself for 45 minutes.

It’s to build a body that keeps up with life.

Strong enough to train hard.
Fit enough to have energy left for work, family, sport, weekends.
Resilient enough to keep showing up consistently.

That’s why we coach differently.

Structured training.
Purpose behind every session.
Progress you can actually sustain.

No fluff.
No random punishment workouts.
Just real coaching that moves you forward.

WTF is 100KM IN MAY?

Simple.

Pick your mode:
Run. Row. Ride. Ski. Walk. Anything you like.
As long as it’s intentional and trackable

Accumulate 100km across the month.

No program.
No perfect plan.
Just a target and a way to stay consistent.

~3.3km a day… or a few short sessions each week.

Track it. Log it. Keep yourself accountable.

This isn’t about smashing yourself.

It’s about showing up.

Again and again.

That’s how momentum is built.

DM us to get involved.

First couple of weeks done for our Youth Strength & Fitness.

We’ve kept it simple.

Getting them comfortable in the gym, learning how to use equipment safely, and understanding how a session is structured.

From there, it’s all about the fundamentals:
 Squat. Push. Pull. Hinge.

Right now that looks like:
 • Squats
 • Push ups
 • Inverted rows

We’re also building coordination, balance, and joint stability to support safe development.

Each session finishes with team-based conditioning and a few challenges to keep the session engaging.

Just focusing on building good habits and solid foundations early.
