📣W👀HOO - SUMMER 26/27 is looking to be a bumper season!

⏰Time is ticking away & Mixed on a Wednesday is filling fast!
We have had an overwhelming response to mixed with 32 sides already registered and still over a month out from kickoff on the 12th October!
Lets aim to get these 2 other newer divisions off the ground! Still room in Mens on a Monday night so get your teams registered.

➡️Teams must have their minimum 10 players paid/registered via ASSEMBLE by cutoff on the 1st October or risk being replaced with teams who end up on a "Wait List" should the comp fill up!

❇️REMINDER TOMORROW NIGHT - The one & only Bill Harrigan will be here to run our new & existing referees through the rules of Oztag & methods of handling the game we all love!

❇️NEW REFEREES WELCOME - Come join our team as we are looking at a huge Summer Comp (especially our popular mixed). We are still over a month away from kickoff with nominations filling fast! We need more referees so we can run more fields on a Wednesday night to accommodate the influx of teams so let's make this happen!

A GRADE MENS –
Mob Deep defeated ACG in what was probably the closest game of the evening in a thrilling 8-7 finish. Overall Best & Fairest went to Bobby Mills from Mob Deep with Player of the Final going to Cuban Piper.
B GRADE MENS –
Red or Black defeated East Coast Tigers in yet another close game 6-4. Overall Best & Fairest went to Adan McGuinness from McGinness Building while Player of the Final went to #23 Wycliff Tuiaki from Red or Black.
A MIXED –
A strong Core Connect Service team defeated Shipway Constructions 20-6. Overall Best & Fairest Female went to Nat West from Shipway & Male to #3 Rory Ballard from Core Connect.
B MIXED –
Harley Gore Concreting defeated Nintago 8-4. Overall Best & Fairest went to the dynamic duo of Harley Gore & Britt Fenns whilst Player of the final went to Nikita Binge from Harley Gore Concrete.
C MIXED –
Here For Beers defeated Wattos Adventures 8-3. Overall Best & Fairest went to Male Jai Wilcox from Watto’s Adventures & Female Macy McCudden from No Tag Backs. Player of the Final was awarded to Sophie Robbins from Here For Beers.
D MIXED –

🎉WINTER 2026 GRAND FINALS - We finally made it with the weather showing off with some fantastic Spring days!🌻☀️

THANKYOU to everyone for persevering this winter with the challenges of rain & the change of nights for our GFs. We appreciate your understanding & have done the very best to accommodate any requests put in early.

As the excitement of games ramp up in intensity we ask that all players & spectators behave in a sportsmanlike manner, respecting both our referees decisions & each other (this includes excessive swearing & backchat)! Don't be letting your team down by being penalised, sinbinned or worse case Sent Off. This will allow us all to enjoy these final games. GOOD LUCK TO ALL INVOLVED!🥇🥈
