Course Redevelopment Update
Dear Members,
We are pleased to advise that construction of the new course is continuing to progress well, with major earthworks now well underway across the redevelopment area.
Significant progress has been made across the redevelopment area, with work advancing steadily on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th holes. The 4th green continues to take shape, with foundation earthworks now complete and preparations underway for the next stage of construction. Surrounding bunker complexes have also been formed, providing a clear indication of the hole's final layout. Earthworks throughout the current construction zone are now well under way, with shaping and filling works continuing to advance across the site. Importantly, current excavation activities are generating sufficient fill material to support the ongoing development of the course, reducing the need to import material from external sources.
Over the coming weeks, we expect to reach an important milestone as the project design team reviews the completed shaping work and final green levels for sign-off. This process ensures the finished product meets the high standards expected for the redevelopment.
Planning for the installation of the new irrigation system is also progressing, with contractors expected on site shortly. This is a key stage of the project and will provide the infrastructure necessary for successful turf establishment and long-term course conditioning.
The project team is also continuing to refine path layouts, landscaping, water features and other course infrastructure to ensure the redevelopment delivers both an outstanding golfing experience and an attractive course environment.
The Board remains encouraged by the progress being made and appreciates the patience and support of members as we work towards delivering a course that will serve the Club well into the future.
We look forward to sharing further updates as additional milestones are achieved.
Good golfing
