**PMBA SUMMER 26/27 – JUNIOR REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN**

A new season and a new junior competition structure is coming to PMBA.

For Summer 26/27 we're moving to **odd-age junior competitions:**

**U9 | U11 | U13 | U15 | U17**

Division 1 competitions for **U13, U15 and U17 Boys will be drafted**, with players required to be registered to be considered for the draft.

With team numbers limited across our competitions, **don't leave your registration too late. Places are first in, best dressed.**

**REGISTRATIONS CLOSE FRIDAY 9 OCTOBER – NO EXCEPTIONS.**

Round 1 commences the **week of 19 October**.

**I AM A GIRL – I CAN DO ANYTHING!**

PMBA is excited to bring the Basketball NSW **I Am A Girl** program to Port Macquarie.

Designed for girls aged **7–14**, this is a FREE opportunity to get on court, learn some skills and experience basketball in a fun and welcoming environment.

No experience is needed. Whether you've never picked up a basketball before or you've recently started playing, we'd love to have you involved.

**PMBA SUMMER 26/27 – REGISTRATIONS OPEN**

Our Summer Competition is coming, and **now is the time to get your team and players registered.**

This season sees our move to odd-age junior competitions:

**U9 | U11 | U13 | U15 | U17**

Plus our senior competitions including:

**A MEN | B MEN | C MEN | OPEN WOMEN**

Division 1 competitions for **U13, U15 and U17 Boys will be drafted**, with players required to be registered to be considered.

**ROUND 1 – WEEK OF 19 OCTOBER**

Team numbers across competitions are limited and places will be allocated on a **first in, best dressed basis**. Don't leave your registration until the last minute and risk missing out.

**REGISTRATIONS CLOSE FRIDAY 9 OCTOBER – NO EXCEPTIONS.**

SEASIDE CLASSIC 2026 – NOMINATIONS OPEN

The Port Macquarie Junior Seaside Classic is back for 2026!

Join us in Port Macquarie on 7–8 November for a great weekend of representative basketball, with teams competing across our new odd-age divisions.

Team nominations are now open – but places are limited.

Nominations close Sunday 27 September, however divisions may close earlier once capacity is reached.

If your association is planning to attend, don't wait – nominate your teams now and secure your place at Seaside 2026.

2027 PORT DOLPHINS REPRESENTATIVE COACHING EOIs — EXTENDED

Expressions of Interest for our 2027 Junior Representative Coaching positions have been extended for one additional week.

As we begin preparations for the 2027 representative season, we’re looking for coaches who are passionate about developing our players and contributing to the continued growth of the Port Dolphins program.

We encourage our existing representative coaches to nominate again, as well as anyone interested in becoming involved in representative coaching for the first time.

Our representative program relies heavily on the commitment of our volunteer coaches, and we greatly appreciate the time, knowledge and energy they contribute to our players and club.

If you’ve been considering getting involved, you now have an extra week to submit your EOI.

PREP 4 REP STARTS THIS WEEK – SIGN UP NOW

The 2027 Port Dolphins Representative Program is about to get underway, with Prep 4 Rep commencing Thursday 10 September.

Numbers are building, but we know there are still plenty of players intending to participate who haven't registered yet. If you're planning on being involved, now is the time to sign up.

There are options to suit everyone:

Prep 4 Rep – all 5 sessions, including 3 Thursday sessions + 2 School Holiday Prep Intensives.

Prep 4 Rep + Trials – RECOMMENDED & BEST VALUE – all 5 Prep sessions PLUS all 3 Representative Trials.

Casual Sessions – individual Thursday Prep sessions or School Holiday Prep Intensives can also be booked separately.

Trials Only – standalone registration for the 3 Representative Trials is also available.

Current Port Dolphins representative players are strongly encouraged to attend Prep 4 Rep. It is not compulsory, however it provides coaches with an opportunity to work with and observe players prior to trials. Where players are otherwise evenly matched during selection, participation may be viewed favourably.

Committed domestic players looking to improve and challenge themselves are also encouraged to get involved.

Prep 4 Rep starts THIS THURSDAY. Don't leave it until the last minute.
