Introducing little Elsie, 7 years old and a resident of Port Macquarie on the mid-north coast of NSW. Today she travels with her dad and favourite plushie, carrots 🥕.

Elsie was born with a heart condition that requires specialists visits to The Children's Hospital at Westmead every 2-months, visiting the cardiology and ENT departments of the hospital.

Originally, the family were driving to and from home to hospital, by the travel fatigue, mounting medical and travel costs, and travelling with a growing family was placing them all under enormous stress.

More recently, Little Wings has been the little lift they needed to ensure Elsie attends every appointment and has access to the best possible healthcare regardless of her postcode… reminding us all that every child matters and should have the support and resources to thrive.

This mission was proudly sponsored by our friends at Hastings Valley Vikings Rugby Union Club …. They play so others can fly, and we are so grateful for their partnership and support.
