DONATION DAY 🚴❤️

***How it works; locals donate bikes, Recycle Bicycle donates parts, tools and knowledge, and volunteers donate their time.***

- Thank You to everyone who donates bicycles to Recycle Bicycle, today 11 refurbished kid's bikes were delivered to a local charity, some to be passed on to those less fortunate, some to be sold by the charity as a low cost alternative to new for locals, and for income to charity, to help in other ways.

***Special thanks*** to Yvonne from Port Macquarie Dietetics. Yvonne has donated her time, care and skills to carefully clean and repair all of the bikes pictured. Weekly she consistently shows up with a 'can do' attitude, and finishes one bike (at least), every week. 19 bikes so far this year, more than '50' bikes since she began volunteering. 🙏🏼 If you need dietary guidance, be sure her professionalism and care, carries over to all aspects of her life. Asking for HELP PLEASE !

Recycle Bicycle has two Sundays left to be gone completely from Planet Skate building 🫤. Short move locally.

I have a truck lined up for THIS SUNDAY MORNING 21/6 9am; and hoping to get five or ten volunteers, to help move bicycles and cabinets.

1. Bicycles are lightweight, just there's hundreds of them 😆🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴 to wheel to and from the truck.

2.Cabinets are very heavy, but there's trolleys and there'll be a second truck that has a lifter on it, it's just a matter of wheeling them to and from the truck.

Level access, door to door both ends.

If anyone is available for Sunday, and is willing to volunteer to kick off at 9:00 a.m., Id be forever grateful 🙏🏼
Refreshments provided.

Looking forward to getting back to repair work ASAP.

Sadly "that's a wrap" for servicing & repairs by Recycle Bicycle at Planet Skate Port Macquarie . I am FOREVER GRATEFUL to 'Adam & Amaya' for the opportunity, to operate my business in their retail space ❤️ & for their friendship, guidance, laughs and endless cappuccinos, to keep me going. Thank You 🙏🏼🚴🔧

Due to the new building 'owners' heartless short notice of '30 days to vacate', there's been very limited options for a suitable space thats 'ready to go', for either of our businesses to continue. I've been very lucky to secure a residential space where I can fit all my bicycles + my workshop area. Being residential, 'Recycle Bicycle' will no longer be a 'walk in' shop with regular hours. Im unsure of how the new format will work yet, likely a mobile service similar to my workshop events to complete small repairs / servicing, and a pick up / drop off service for overhauls. This means I am also moving my family home contents of 10 years accumulation 😆 I hope to be 'back in action' smoothly by August 1st. Enquires still welcome during this tim.

Apologies to those who've submitted expressions of interest this year, in bikes that haven't been fulfilled, the last few weeks have been consumed by change of premises stress. I will be back taking bicycle orders for specific types / sizes in the near future.

MANY THANKS to all of my customers who have kept me in business, by buying my recycled bikes, completing servicing & repairs, buying accessories, and of course donating bikes and parts. I greatly appreciate your custom and enthusiasm, enabling me to work at what I enjoy doing most, every day.
