Tomorrow is a huge day for Port City Hockey Club, with our Juniors and Seniors taking the field for their final games of the season! After all the training, hard work, determination and team spirit shown throughout the year, it’s time to come together as one club and finish the season STRONGER TOGETHER!

🟢⚫ THAT UMPIRE IS SOMEONE’S CHILD ⚫🟢

For this weekend please all keep this in mind.

Every umpire who steps onto the field deserves the same respect we expect for our own players.

Many of our umpires are young, still learning, building confidence and developing their skills every time they pick up the whistle.

They will make mistakes — just like players, coaches and all of us do.

What they need from the sidelines isn’t abuse, yelling or criticism.

They need support.
They need encouragement.
They need the opportunity to learn and grow.

Without umpires, there is no game.

So this weekend, and every weekend, remember that the person holding the whistle is someone’s son, daughter, teammate, friend or family member.

👏 Encourage good decisions
💚 Support them when they make mistakes
🗣️ Keep comments positive and respectful
🏑 Help us create an environment where young umpires want to keep coming back

A massive congratulations to our B Grade Men’s PCHC Bullsharks 🦈 and our B Grade Ladies PCHC Orcas 🐋 on their fantastic wins today!

Both teams showed plenty of determination, teamwork and PCHC pride to earn their places in the GRAND FINAL next week! 🏑🔥

An incredible achievement for both sides and something the whole club can be proud of.

Today we want to wish a very Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures and special people within our Marlins family. 💚

Thank you to all the dads who are there week in, week out — driving to training, standing on the sidelines, cheering from the fence, helping around the club, coaching, umpiring, volunteering and supporting our players through every win, loss and everything in between.

Your support and encouragement plays a huge part in making our club the family that it is.

We hope all of our Marlins dads and father figures have an awesome day and get absolutely spoiled — you deserve it!
