⚽ Three Iona Girls Selected for State Championships ⚽

Congratulations to Zara Alexopoulos, Skye Fletcher and Emily Whitfield on their selection in the Football Mid North Coast Under 16 Girls representative team.

The girls will compete at the Under 16 Girls State Youth Championships at Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility, Speers Point, from 6–8 July 2026, taking on the best young footballers from across NSW.

This tournament brings together representative teams from each zone, with players selected from community football clubs. We are incredibly proud to see these three talented Iona players earn the opportunity to represent our region on the state stage. Good luck girls.
