{ DIV 1 WRAP UP }
The Piranhas had a great weekend away, at the North Coast Division 1 Championships in Grafton.
πββοΈFrom our 23 swimmers in 150 individual events, we came home with 34 gold medals, 15 silver medals, 11 bronze medals and an outstanding 76 new PBs.
π₯There were individual golds for Tess (2), Flynn (2), Iesha (7), Zara(2), Cooper (2), James (4), Bianca (6), Chloe (4), Daniel (2) and Zoe (3)
π₯Silver medals were won by Iesha (1), Flynn (2), Zara (3), Cooper (4), Scarlett (2), James (1), Bianca (1), Blake (1)
π₯And our bronze medalists were Zara (1), Harry (1), Bianca (1), Chloe (5), Daniel (1) and Kayliana (2).
πββοΈWe also fielded 15 relay teams, coming away with 4 relay golds and 1 bronze
π₯Our girls team of Chloe, Bianca, Iesha and Zara took out both the open 4 x 50 freestyle and the open 4 x 50 medley relays
π₯Our boys 14&U 4 x 50 freestyle team of James, Blake, Flynn & Cooper finished in the top spot.
π₯π₯In the girls 14&U 4 x 50 freestyle relay, both our A and B teams finished on the podium with gold to the A girls Bianca, Chloe, Scarlett and Zara and bronze to the B girls Sienna, Rose, Zoe and Madi.
β±οΈWe also had some very exciting National Qualifying swims from Cooper who obtained his first National QT after a killer swim in the 200 fly. And Zara.C who also smashed the 200 fly National QT to secure her spot on the National team for the 2nd year. Big congrats to these two.
β±οΈWe also had new State Qualifying times for Daniel (Youth State- 100 back) and Bianca (Senior State- 400 free and 100 fly)
πFlynn won the Tim Mullins 'Reach for the Stars' memorial shield for fastest 13 yr boys 100 freestyle- well done Flynn.
πAnd finally congratulations to our Age Champions Iesha (17& Over) and Bianca (14 yrs)
