đŸŒ±Tending the Beginning

Beginning is often exciting.
Tending is where the relationship is built.

It is one thing to set an intention, make a decision, or take the first step.
It is another to keep showing up once the initial energy has passed.

Every meaningful beginning asks something of us:

Time.
Attention.
Boundaries.
Repetition.
Patience.
Sometimes rest.

Rather than asking when your intention will finally bloom, perhaps ask:
🌿What does this beginning need from me today?

There is a space between who you have been and what comes next.
It can feel uncertain.

The old ways no longer fit, yet the new has not fully taken form.
We often want to rush through this space and find the answer.

Yet there is wisdom in allowing ourselves to remain here for a while.
To listen, feel, question, become curious.

Some beginnings need space before they need action...

The New Moon offers a quieter kind of beginning.

Not everything we choose needs to be explained, announced or made visible straight away. Sometimes the most important thing we can give a new intention is enough space to find its shape.

Before asking “How do I make this happen?”, it may be worth asking:
What will help this grow?

Perhaps it needs more time.
A stronger boundary.
A different routine.
Less outside opinion.
More consistent attention.
Or simply your willingness to keep returning to it before there is any evidence that it is working.

There can be wisdom in keeping something close while its roots develop.

You are allowed to nurture an idea before you explain it.
You are allowed to begin without certainty.
And you are allowed to let something become strong enough within you before asking it to survive the expectations of everybody else.

🌑 What are you giving time to grow this New Moon?

Nat’s journey has unfolded one courageous step at a time.

From beginning with And She Rose, moving deeper through And She Thrives and Womyn, to becoming a qualified NLP Therapist and now stepping into the role of co-facilitator alongside myself.

What began as her own personal work became something she chose to keep following.

Nat’s story is such a powerful reminder that becoming is rarely one big leap.
It is built through the choices we keep making when we know we are ready for more.

And sometimes, the woman who first walks into the room as a participant eventually becomes the woman helping to hold the room for others.

I'm so honoured to have Nat now co-facilitating alongside me. 🧡

Menopause is so often spoken about as something to manage, fix or simply get through.

But what if it is also an invitation?

An invitation to slow down.
To listen differently.
To question what no longer fits.
To reconnect with the woman you are becoming.

In this episode of Every Womyn & Her Dog, we explore menopause not only as a physical transition, but as a powerful threshold in a woman’s life.

A time when the body, identity, relationships and priorities may all begin asking for something different.

🎧 Menopause: The Hidden Invitation

If you’re in this season, or approaching it, this conversation may offer a different way of seeing what is unfolding.

A threshold is both an ending and a beginning.

It is the place where 'who you have been' meets 'who you are becoming'.

Thresholds can feel uncertain because they ask us to leave something familiar before the next chapter is fully formed. A bit of a 'chicken or the egg' scenario you may think.

But uncertainty does not always mean you are lost.
Sometimes it means you are standing between identities, seasons or ways of living.

You do not need to rush across.
Pause.
Notice what you are leaving behind, what you are carrying forward and what this next season is asking of you.

You cannot nurture every possible version of your life at once! You just can't do it...

Every seed requires something from you (time, attention, energy, patience and care.)

Intentional living is not about pursuing every opportunity that appears.
It's about choosing what genuinely reflects your values, desires and deeper knowing.

Before you plant your next seed, ask yourself:
đŸŒ±Is this something I genuinely want?
đŸŒ±Why does it matter to me?
đŸŒ±What will it need from me?
đŸŒ±What might I need to release to create space for it?

Not every seed belongs in the garden you are creating.
Choose with intention.

Some of the most powerful shifts don’t happen in one dramatic moment.

They happen through the steady accumulation of insight.

A light bulb moment here... A difficult realisation there...
A new understanding of why we do what we do.

🧡Erin shared this about her experience:

“I feel like there were so many ‘light bulb’ moments throughout my journey — maybe even in every session. Whilst learning the ‘why’ behind my choices and actions was difficult and daunting, being able to be vulnerable and so closely supported in this environment allowed me to really open up, work through my old matrix, find my reason for why, and build a new matrix that works for me.”

She also spoke about the value of meditation, learning about the journey of women through history, and understanding the cyclical nature of our lives.

This work isn’t about being handed a new set of rules to live by, it’s about understanding the patterns you’ve been living within, deciding what still belongs, and consciously creating something that works for the woman you are now.

So much of personal development focuses on becoming...

Becoming better.
More confident.
More successful.
More healed.

Yet some of our deepest work is actually a process of remembering.
Remembering what is true beneath everything we have been taught to be.

This is where the journey of Embodied Womyn begins.

A 1:1 container, created around you. Message me for more details, and let's start your journey.

Spring doesn't arrive in full bloom...

It begins quietly, in the changing light, the softening air, and the first signs of life beginning to move beneath the surface.

Our own beginnings can unfold in much the same way.

Before there is a decision, a conversation or a visible change, there is often something stirring within us. A longing. A restlessness. A sense that something no longer fits in quite the same way.

Throughout September, we’ll be exploring New Beginnings through cyclical wisdom, intentional living, emergence and the changing seasons.

As we move from winter into spring, I invite you to consider:
đŸŒ±What is quietly beginning within you?
