📌 Coach Felix, a National Champion at Brown Belt level and 4x State (VIC) Champion at both Brown Belt and Purple Belt levels, will be visiting Spektrum in OCTOBER.

📌 Coach Felix will be here on Friday 24th October - Saturday 25th October, to teach 2x NO-GI Seminars (Teens & Adults combined), PLUS, a 1.5 hour In-depth Q&A session.

🗣️COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT🗣️

THIS HERE..👇🏼👇🏼, is HISTORY IN THE MAKING.

History for Spektrum Martial Arts, history for Port Lincoln, and history for the Eyre Peninsula.

Today, Coach Sam Broughton became Spektrum Martial Arts’, Port Lincoln’s and the Eyre Peninsula’s FIRST EVER Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt 🥋🖤🖤❤️

For those that know anything about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, know that the BJJ journey to Black Belt is long (10 years or MORE), and takes an incredible amount of time, dedication, commitment and knowledge to reach that level.

Couple this with being born with Cerebral Palsy (Diplegia) which affects the legs, made this journey to Black Belt, all the more challenging and INSPIRING.

Never being one to shy away from a challenge, Coach Sam has spent the past 16 years travelling back and forth across Australia, hosting international and national BJJ Black Belt Professors here, at Spektrum, competing in BJJ Tournaments across Australia, and doing regular weekly BJJ Privates with his Professor over Skype, to gather as much knowledge as possible, to bring back to his students here, in Port Lincoln.📝🤓

Surrounded by friends that over time have become FAMILY, Coach Sam humbly accepted his new belt ranking from his Professor, John Will (6th Degree Black Belt 🥋 and member of Australia’s “Dirty Dozen” - not mention, Chuck Norris’ BJJ Coach..🤩), at today’s John Will Super Seminar.

CONGRATULATIONS Coach Sam on obtaining such an INCREDIBLE, ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME achievement.🙌🏼🥳🥋🌟

THANK YOU to all of our Spektrum students, and our BJJ brothers and sisters who travelled from afar, to be apart of this momentous occasion. We love and appreciate each and every one of you!🫶🏼💖✨

Congratulations also goes out to those who levelled up at today’s, BJJ Seminar. You all deserve your new rankings.👏🏼🤩
