Adelaide to Port Lincoln Yacht Race & Regatta Adelaide to Port Lincoln Yacht Race & Lincoln Week Regatta What is Lincoln Week? Lincoln Week Regatta is South Australia’s largest keel boat sailing regatta.

South Australia’s premier ocean racing event. 35-50 boats leave Outer Harbour on Friday to compete in a 156 nautical mile race that takes them south west to Marion Reef at the foot of York Peninsula along the foot to the spectacular Cape Spencer then North West past Wedge and Thistle Islands and Dangerous Reef to the welcome of Port Lincoln nestled on Boston Bay. The Regatta runs from Monday to Th

ursday of the week following the Adelaide to Port Lincoln Yacht Race and provides a mix of courses that will make the most of the fantastic sailing in Boston Bay and some of the surrounding Islands. How many boats take part? In recent years Lincoln Week numbers have been increasing with the introduction of divisions for Multihulls, Trailerables, PHS Cruising, Sydney 38's boosting numbers from around 35 to 50 entries.

What a week!

Big thank you again to Marina Hotel and Apartments for coming on board as the events major sponsor and also to all our other sponsors who made this event possible.

Thanks as always to our committee and village of Port Lincoln Yacht Club volunteers who pull it all together every year.

Shout out also to our PRO Malcolm Hughes and his team of on water volunteers for again doing an amazing job running the racing. Many of this team come from Adelaide each year to help us for the week - We couldn’t do it without you all.

Huge thank you to Harry from Down Under Sail for again showcasing the week of glamour sailing conditions as well as all of the fun on and off the water.

By the time March rolls around, I’m sure all our Lincoln Week sailors will be getting that itch to go sailing again!

So why not get down to Goolwa and Milang to support our SA sailing community, and all the sailors from the clubs involved.

Lincoln Week is always well supported by sailors from the Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club Inc, so let’s return the favour and get on the water for the March long weekend.

Last day of racing today for the Marina Hotel and Apartments Lincoln Week Regatta with 2 races around the cans scheduled.

We will have daily prizes on the Marina boardwalk at approx 4pm today and the last 3 crayfish will be drawn.. Be there so you don’t miss your boat being drawn out!

Our Regatta Presentation is at Port Lincoln Hotel tonight - Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

Reminder that our event shuttle bus will be running one way from the Marina area to PL Hotel tonight - Timetable below.

Megga's BBQ is an iconic day on the Lincoln Week schedule – and it's all about family, friends and community!

The Megga's BBQ bay race threw up some tricky conditions this morning, with very light winds and sailors needing to constantly be thinking about where the wind was.

But now it's time to celebrate on the beach in the Lincoln National Park in what is set to be another enjoyable day!
