Sharpies return to Oyster Fest! 🦪 ⛵️

The SA Sharpies are invited to the Ceduna Sailing Club for the October long weekend - Two days on the water warming up for the start of the season, along with plenty of off water entertainment at the Oyster Fest. A great opportunity to head West and sail on the famous Murat Bay!

We’re looking for enthusiastic members, sailors, parents and volunteers to help build on our Junior Training programs — Cadets, Learn to Sail & Green Fleet.

You don’t need to be an experienced coach — just bring your ideas, enthusiasm and willingness to get involved! Let’s make junior sailing welcoming, fun and successful.

The AGM is this Friday at 7pm, and as an added bonus Kristy is making Beef stroganoff or Chicken risoni!! Please give a thumbs up if you’re coming along to help her with catering numbers… dinners available at 6pm😃

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Friday 21st August 2026 at 7.00pm in the downstairs bar. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The following positions will be vacant at the AGM:

Commodore
Vice Commodore
Rear Commodore
Secretary
Treasurer (one year Tenure)
Lincoln Week Officer
Sailing Officer
Bar Officer
House/Social Officer
Committee Person x 2

All positions are 2 year tenures except for the Flag Officers which is 1 year. (Note: The Treasurer position will be a one-year tenure this coming year, then it will return to the two-year schedule at the next AGM.)

Lets honour those we will no longer share a laugh with on the lawns or back in the club post sailing by making this upcoming season another great one.
