.SECRETARY’S UPDATE 18-6-26
Club Dinner Saturday June 13th Congratulations to everyone involved- Cindy Carr, Haydn Myers, Val Shaarad in the kitchen on the night and cooking beforehand, Thappanee Myers for cooking Thai curries beforehand, Libby Dolphin for making soup, Kay Freeth who cooked 2 fruit crumbles, Jill Arcus made an apple roly-poly, Ally Russell for doing the bar with Pip and continuing after Pip left. Thanks to those members who supported the Club by attending the dinner and bringing family and friends with them, those who helped kitchen workers by delivering used crockery and cutlery to the kitchen, those who sold lucky squares, donated goods for the Clayton’s Garage Sale and those who donated money to buy them (over $200 and counting for goods there). Those I’ve spoken to thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the ambience on the night. Apologies if I’ve missed anyone. There are still some items left from the Clayton’s Garage Sale – have a look- if you’d like something which is there pay what you’d like to with money going to the Club.
