Catching up on our incentives! Huge thank you to our sponsors Lincoln Meat Service. Bakers Delight and Tnt's Cafe!

Witht he support from these local businesses we can provide incentives for our players who have a great game!

This week the Green family cleaned up in the seniors with Briley and Brooke taking home the B grade incentives, and Ash taking the A grade one (so we heard the bbq is on them!) Briley played a ripper game at shortstop, taking multiple catches and plays across the diamond. Also working well with the bat! Brooke had the job behind the plate where she worked hard directing her team. She was dangerous with the bat getting on base and bringing runners in. Ash had the role of first base in the A grade and provided a great target and stretch! Her stand out moments were her batting where she hit hard and flat, getting on base multiple times. Its so exciting to see our juniors stepping up into the seniors and holding their own!

In the juniors we had Frankie Woolford hit her first homerun and play a cracker at first base. She has great talk for her team and puts in 100% every single week no matter where she plays! Tessa Woolford is in her first season and has picked the game up really well! She had multiple ground ball hits that allowed her on base, and in the field she picked the balls up cleanly at second base to make the play. Ash Green had the pitching duties and for only her 3rd game in the circle she is doing a fabulous job! She found her groove and allowed some hits that her team fielded smoothly. Ash herself had multiple hit back to her where she made the plays with ease. Once again, hitting well and running bases hard!

Round 7!
Thanks to our incentive sponsors again! Tnt's Cafe and Bakers Delight

We had a spare voucher after last week's game got cancelled, although they all deserved one we could only give out 2!

The umpires chose Briley for her efforts at left field. She took some very impressive catches that stopped the opposition from hitting home runs and she was consistent with the bat again, running bases hard!

Makyra found the sweet spot on her bat and hit multiple double bagger bombs (inspired by her sister we believe). She also was fabulous at third base taking some outs with a strong glove.

Gabby also had a great day with the bat hitting some really nice outfield hits and has really taken in board the feedback from her coaches. Fielding at second base, she had a couple go to her that she caught or fielded and threw to first base.

Its really exciting seeing how much these girls have developed after 7 games and where they could be at the end of the season! So much talent 😍

Lincoln Meat Service. Players of the week are Jatilia Weetra and Jorja Defelice. Thank you Nick and Sarah for providing these vouchers that we can reward our players' handwork with!

Jatilia is new to softball and has picked it up quick. She was challenged with the job of third base and she did a great job. She had quite a few go just out of her reach but the ones she could get she knocked them down and got a couple outs. She has also been taking on feedback from her coaches and her batting has improved so much since the beginning. She picked up a couple safe hits and we are so proud of her progress!

Jorja has been working really hard in the field at second base where she has been covering so much ground and backing up plays at first base which have been vital saves! Knocking down the balls that come her way and making the plays with ease. She has been challenged with the bat over the past few weeks but this week she found her groove, made some adjustments and hit a whopper homerun to right field. We hope the confidence continues and we see that talent we know is there!

Way to go Jatilia and Jorja!

We have officially passed the half way point of the season! This means we are nearing Christmas (and our famous raffle)!

This week we face off with Roadies again for what is always a great display of softball in all grades!

ROUND 4, 5 and 6!

Lincoln Meat Service. 's PLAYER INCENTIVES!
Sarah and Nick are once again supporting our club with Meat for our BBQs and our incentives (which are everyone's favourite). They have supported us for a few years now and we are so grateful to have them on again!

Round 4
Ella Blewit was recipient of both games for her 200 senior game milestone. Playing any position required, she is still an incredible leader, player and game changer. Hitting well with the bat and not letting any ball past her, she is having a great year doubling up each week for both grades.

Round 5
Shadya Kerley has returned to softball this season after a couple off and has been enjoying herself. She has been making some great plays at third and hitting bombs to the outfield for multiple base hits.

Riko Kojima our new recruit from Japan! We are s lucky she has chosen us and has fitted in so well. We play her anywhere we need her to and she does it with style. Mostly plays our first base position where she doesnt let much through her and gobbles up lots of foul balls. Very swift with the bat too, able to hit hard and far and has picked up many double base hits.

Round 6
Tuesday Males has been working so hard tk implement all the feedback from coaches to better her game and we can see her improvement each week. She has such a great love for the game and wanting to better herself. We have already seen some huge bombs hit from Tuesday and some great plays at second. This week she took a ball to the leg off Tammy's throw to get a stealing runner (if you know how hard they are, you know how much it would hurt 😝). Took it like a champ and was left with a pretty hefty bruise.

Matilda Packer earnt the A grade incentive this week for her efforts to improve and take on feedback too. She has had a bit of mixing up in the field playing either left field or catching. A 16 year old with only a few seasons experience, catching A grade and doing an incredible job, its shows how much work and effort she puts in. With the bat, she has also been hitting well with cheeky bleeders over the infield or hard flat balls to pressure the fielders. And using her wheels to run the bases quick!

All girls have stepped it up as seniors in the group and are guiding new players on the field. Hitting hard, running at any chance they get, smacking homeruns and taking great catches.
Kailey has been pitching incredible, and Ash Green gave it a whirl when Kailey was away and had a blast!
Marley has been hitting huge bombs each week, scoring valuable runs and Lucy had a ripper this week hitting a homerun to add her first to the resume
