🏊‍♀️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Tunarama Triathlon 2026 – Results Recap 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏊‍♂️

What an incredible day of racing at the 2026 Tunarama Triathlon! From lightning-fast sprint efforts to gritty Olympic-distance performances, the course was buzzing with determination, support and plenty of Tunarama spirit.

We had a massive 58 competitors across our two distances - absolutely phenomenal!

A huge shout-out to all of our first-timers — whether this was your very first triathlon ever, or your first one back after a few (or many!) years away, you absolutely nailed it. Getting to the start line takes courage, and finishing is something to be seriously proud of. 🌟

And just like that… Tunarama Triathlon was underway! 🔥🏊‍♂️
The opening swim pack hit the water and the day kicked off with pure energy, adrenaline and big festival vibes.

Nothing beats that first splash and the sound of the crowd cheering from the shoreline 🙌🏁🌊

🚨 LATE NOTICE – TUNARAMA U16 TRIATHLON UPDATE 🚨

Thanks to the amazing number of volunteers who have put their hand up to help, we’re excited to announce that we can now safely support U16 athletes on course.

👉 U16 participants are eligible to take part in the SWIM or RUN leg only, as part of a team.

🚫 U16 athletes are NOT permitted to participate in the BIKE leg. You must he 16 or older to complete the ride.

This change is only possible because of our incredible volunteer community, and we can’t thank you enough for helping us make the event more inclusive for our junior athletes 💙

We look forward to seeing our young competitors out there enjoying the action 🏊 🚴🏻‍♀️ 🏃🏻‍♂️

🗺️ This 2.5 km loop (which is pancake flat) will be used for both race distances — and it’s perfect for pushing your pace!

Race Format:
🔥 Sprint Triathletes — 2 laps of this run loop
💪 Olympic Triathletes — 4 laps of the loop

🚰 Aid Station: There will be a water & Powerade station on course to keep you refreshed between laps 💧⚡

Fast and flat - our Tunarama Triathlon bike course will see you pedal past emus and kangaroos to our Tulka turnaround point, before heading back into town past our aid station - which'll refuel you with water and Poweraide, thanks to Drakes Supermarkets!
