We’re heading to Mount Gambier Karting Club for Round 5 of the Karting S.A. Festival State Cup Series — and it’s time to finish the year off in style! 🔥🏆

It’s been a fantastic year for the FSC, with great racing, big fields, plenty of competition and an awesome atmosphere at every round.

Now let’s make the final round one to remember! 🙌

Camping is available at the club for the weekend. If you’re planning on staying at the track, please contact MGKC directly to arrange your camping spot.

Some people join a club.
Some people volunteer for a club.
And then there are the people who become the heart and soul of it.

The Port Lincoln Go-Kart Club is incredibly proud to announce that our President, Anthony Piantedosi, has been awarded Life Membership

The decision made by the team behind him was an extremely easy one to make. Anthony’s dedication to this club goes way deeper than what you see on the surface. He has poured countless hours, ideas, sweat, frustration, determination and, at times, a few choice words into keeping this club alive and what it is today.

When things have been difficult, he’s kept pushing, moving forwarding and tried his hardest to get the club back to where it once was. His continuous determination, even on the days he wanted to give up, is something to look up to.

The track, the plans for the future, the fundraising, the working bees, the endless jobs that nobody sees and the countless hours spent trying to give our members a place they can be proud of has involved Anthony every step of the way.

While we always say how thankful we are to have you a part of the club and leading us through the highs and lows, we couldn’t find a better way to say thank you than to award you Life Membership.

From the committee, members, families and port Lincoln community, thank you, we genuinely wouldn’t be where we are today without you.

Due to a clash with our upcoming Bunnings BBQ fundraisers, our next two Boston Bay Burger Days will be moved to the 1st Sunday of September and October. We apologies for any inconveniences this may have caused.

We’ve got a few fundraisers happening over the next couple of months and we’d love your support where possible. Whether you’re grabbing a delicious burger at Boston Bay Diner or stopping by Bunnings for a sausage sizzle, every little bit helps support the Port Lincoln Go-Kart Club.

We would still love for everyone to support the Diner where you can as they have been a huge support to us :)

Reminder the clubs AGM is this Wednesday night at the Port Lincoln Hotel function room.
7pm is the meetings start time however we recommend getting in early and ordering food up to the room.
plenty to discuss and of course vote on a new committee going forward.

We are on the look out for help.

We need some volunteers to help load some tyres on the Monday morning after the BP Adelaide GF 30th of November.
Before we book transport we need to guarantee we have the manpower to get these loaded up!

🏁 WHYALLA CITY TITLES 2026 🏁

Get ready for a huge weekend of kart racing at Whyalla Kart Club! 🏎️💨

📅 Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August
📍 Whyalla Kart Club – Port Lincoln Highway, Whyalla
🎟️ FREE GATE ENTRY

The action kicks off Saturday with practice from 12:30pm, followed by an exciting afternoon and evening of racing.

🌙 3 Heats for each class on Saturday
💡 Heat 3 under lights
🏆 Heat 4 & Final on Sunday
🏆 Trophies presented for every class

With a fantastic range of classes hitting the track, there will be plenty of close racing and entertainment across the weekend.

Our 2026 Annual General Meeting has officially been locked in, and we’d love to see as many people there as possible!

• Port Lincoln Hotel, Wednesday, 26th of August 2026 @ 7:00pm (Upstairs function room opens from 6:30pm)

If you’d like to grab dinner beforehand, you can order downstairs at Sharkys from 6:00pm and have it brought up to the function room.

This is an important meeting where we’ll be discussing membership information and fees, as well as the future direction of our club. Your input is important to use, and we encourage everyone to attend.

RSVP isn’t required but preferred so we can ensure we have enough seating available.

The meeting is also open to anyone interested in becoming a future member, so feel free to bring along family, friends, or anyone keen to get involved.
