Wonderful turn out for the Daffodil Dip! Thanks for the good wishes from spectators and the great camaraderie from dippers! Lovely to see everyone, I have missed the connection while pool shut.

Appreciate the City of Port Lincoln Council for opening the pool for the weekend.

Good news swimmers! The jetty pool will be accessible over the weekend via the southern gangway!
City of Port Lincoln Council have kindly arranged a temporary opening over the weekend. Caution should still be used where bollards and roped areas are.
Enjoy the jetty pool, rest of works will follow and then pool should be open again fully after that 🩵

Jetty pool works continue.
Jetty steps are open and the water is fine!

Works will continue on the Town jetty next week, to complete the swimming enclosure gangway support modifications.

Sections of the Jetty and Swimming Enclosure will be temporarily opened as closed as required throughout the works.

Until the gangways can be fully reopened, please continue to observe safety directions in place.

We thank the community for their patience as we work to improve an important community asset.

* Kelly updated me this morning that jetty is open, pontoon still closed as of today (Sunday)*
Jetty pool closed this week for repairs from 10am today 💙💙💙🌊🌊🌊🌈🌈🌈

The Port Lincoln Town Jetty and Swimming Enclosure, including a 50 metre water exclusion zone, will be temporarily closed for gangway support installation works from 10am Monday 3rd August to Friday 7th August.

These works will involve modifications to the two Swimming Enclosure Gangways connecting the top of the jetty to the floating pontoons, to provide additional structural support to the gangways.

It is not safe to use the swimming enclosure or access the jetty during the closure. Please follow all safety directions in place and do not enter the exclusion zone while our contractors undertake these works.
