I just wanted to paint a clear picture to what’s really behind the scenes.

Yes I’ve moved and yes I’m getting better every single day.

But one of the reasons I stayed put in Perth, in my comfort zone, for so long because I had so much SUPPORT. From a small town in Rockingham. I had my gym, strength, recovery, boxing, cafes, caravan parks, Physio, the whole lot!

Now I’m in the Gold Coast where there’s athletes everywhere. It makes my existent imposter syndrome grow even 10 fold.

I am focusing on being me.
Building the skill of being okay to take up space, be seen.
I believe I have heard over 200+ nos, to my couple Yes’s.
I love this journey because it’s teaching me to go after what I want to build for myself.

From being the 18 yr old learning Muaythai who didn’t speak for a full year (ya girl had a traumatic life) to now breaking generational barriers and going after my dreams. I’m always so proud of me.

Just feeling very fortunate for those that get behind me and see that this isn’t a hobby it’s my life.

I’ve always been a huge advocate for strength training ☺️

I made sure to squeeze the lemon out of being a fighter, made the most of my classes in Muaythai, then started my boxing pts and then added strength to the arsenal.. not the other way around

I also reached out to from the day I started. When I went pro so many fighters and gyms noticed Bryony was suddenly HITTING HARD and reached out to work with Jakob too. It’s been an incredible journey so far.

I have never had to take time away from the sport because of injury and that’s because of Jakob building such a bulletproof body. I also have learnt so much about periodisation, tapering and peaking from his coaching. He knows exactly how and when to work on my building/strength phase to my power and then explosiveness. Come fight time I am fully weaponised!!

I’m grateful to have such a great career body wise and health wise thanks to ☺️ thank you always.

The last time you saw me on I fought 7 rounds in one night. A true testament to what it takes to adjust your mindset on the night fighting 2 people and doing an extension round.

This night taught me that I am willing to go places in my soul and mind to bring out whatever needs to get done to be executed. I loved it.

It’s been 2.5 years and nearly 20 fights since that performance. I am excited to enjoy every minute back in that ring!! 🎇
